I was just piddling around in Dalaran with Apollyon while my husband was out in Sholazar getting some ore to make me some bullets.
All of a sudden, he says, "I think I'm gonna just kill this," and I hear him start combat with something. I whip my head around and see him shooting Loque! I was like "WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" Supposedly he was just joking, he wasn't going to actually kill it, but I told him I was going to fly out there and get him if he was still there. I stable Apollyon, and grab Tetsusaiga to dump. Nah, can't do that, I've had him for five years! Ok, so bye-bye Hayao (Arcturis). I don't need two spirit beasts and I just don't really like bears anyway, even when they're all neat and glowy. Yeah, Arcturis is cool, but he's just not my thing.

So out I fly to Sholazar and after a little flapping around, finally find him. I lay a freezing trap, then start to wonder if anyone else there might be looking for him. So, I asked in General chat if any hunters have been looking for Loque'nahak, and to speak up or I'll tame him. I give it about 30 seconds and no one replies or whispers, so I just go ahead and tame him. I have mixed feelings on his looks, he's a mix of odd and pretty. But his ROAR, wow. What a beautiful sound that is! I couldn't think of a name for the life of me but finally came up with Dante. He yawned and I thought his mouth looked like it was on fire, like an inferno, which made me think of Dante's Inferno (something I've never read/watched/played, so who knows). O.o So here's a pic of Dante and myself, taking a little rest by the river where we met. I admit, he is a pretty cool little lazerkitty.

That's Really neat! I wish I could've found Loq. Him and Skoll(despite being a northrend wolf) are my favorites, I think Arct. is pretty neat, and I actually found Gond, but released him b/c i wasn't very fond of his skin. But Loque is by far my favorite of the four.

Yeah...I was going to try to get Gondria at 77 because I thought I'd like the skin better. But, Loque'nahak (Dante) is growing on me rapidly. Apollyon is still King of the stables, and will always be my favorite, but Dante is quickly becoming a close second!

Both times I've gotten a spirit beast, I wasn't even looking for it. So...maybe try not caring, and one will appear? Lol, if only it worked that way, right? Don't worry, you'll get him. If it helps, I (ok, my husband) found him right around here:

He was pretty much right up against the mountains. He was in with some hostile gorillas but they weren't a problem.

I know nit picky but it's like calling the Ravasaur Matriarch a male. Loque is Harkoa's mate :p Hark is a girl.

Mean after tame it can be any gender, but before tame it's a male 8D

For a moment I thought of letting the opportunity pass me by, but that would have been madness! I mean, if someone else had come along and gotten him, I wouldn't have been bothered. But I wanted to at least try.

Thanks for the laugh! I can imagine Loque'nahak going X_x when I hold up a scalpel, "But 'Nancy' just doesn't sound right for a MALE! Here, kitty kitty!....."

Oh yes,all my pets have that surgery when they enter my stable's....even if they don't want it.

Haha, congrats! I did nearly the same thing myself with Loque'Nahak...I was just grinding leather to level my LW and BAM, there he was! Hadn't planned on camping him, but hey, if he wants to show up on a silver platter like that...

Thanks! and it's funny you say that b/c when i stumbled upon Gondria, I had just decided and told a few people that i was fed up with all the damned circles and would get a SB later if I felt up to it.
