Ok yah no I was content with Saon and Sas for Madexx. Sas had them all and Saon was happy with red and black. And then.. I had to go and tame the green one on the PTR and adored the way he looked on Saoc.. and then I tamed the common color changer when it changed colors and adored the blue on her as well. So I am back to the desert.. and what keeps spawning? The brown..

The day before the brown was up for 10 mins before I found someone.

Then today the brown spawned again.. and some lvl 83 killed him even though I told him it drops a grey.. noone wanted the brown in the guild and was about to ask the numerous others hunters there..but still I kinda didnt see the point to kill for 25g.. I then said grats on the 25g.. and he had the nerve to whisper me TY. *sigh* Madexx needs nerfbat.. hes like by far the weakest rare.. even terrorpene would cause more damage to a lvl 85.. a lvl 83 would have died with any of the others.

Im just glad it wasnt the color I wanted but curse you brown madexx for being the only one to spawn. The first time I saw a green, was a few weeks back and it was a corpse at that time I didnt care cause I didnt want him.. and now I do.

On the bright side I got hit by deathwing today! And well I guess atleast I saw a maddexx and if he was the one I wanted I would have for sure been able to tame him since I was with him for a few minutes before the druid came.


So yah.. just needed to vent

I actually stopped someone from killing him on my server yesterday, but he was gone by the time I got over there. Hopefully he was tamed, rather than killed; I didn't see a body.

Still trying to figure out what "brownish-red" means in terms of a Madexx spawn. xD

Good luck with blue and green popping! He'll come to you...eventually.

I have the black (first tame) and green (second tame) but still really want the blue. The more I think about it though, the black really works for me. I'm still trying to figure out which pet to give up in order to tame Deathmaw. >.<

As the proud owner of a bronze Madexx, it makes me really sad that it seems to be the least liked of the five colors though I was guilty of this before I got mine. I hope Madexx will be good to you and not take too long to spawn in the colors you want.

I know, it makes me sad too. Though I admit that I myself released my bronze Madexx once I accidentally acquired and fell in love with my black one. I wouldn't say it's so much that I don't like the bronze one, it's just that it didn't really suit me at all. It wasn't necessarily the color, just...its personality too I guess? The black one, once I spent more than two seconds with it, clicked pretty much instantly. And I didn't even think I wanted black!

But yeah, bronze is very attractive, I guess it's just not as "flashy" as the other colors. Though honestly, black isn't really all that flashy either. But I still LOVE it, and it's now my favorite color. ^_^

I am hoping he decides to pop up in a color I really like. I at first had no desire to tame green but it was on the PTR so I figured why the heck not and now Im like.. im never leaving the desert.. the red and black are nice for Saon but the green just looks amazing, and so does the blue. I am also going to have to look at my stable and release a few that I dont use anymore in order to get a few I adore.

And thank you I hope he does decide to pop up sometime soon.

@Toph: I actually tamed the brown madexx on the PTR and it just didnt work for my character. The color was really washed out against my vibrant BE otherwise I would have given him a home. Heck if I was fast enough I would have tamed him rather then see him get killed I guess its just cause well I would have rather given him to someone who really wanted him, then just be selfish and tame something I know doesnt work for my char and would have just released. The black works with my Saon becuase of her black hair, and the red just pops. The green is the color of her eyes and blue is one Ive always wanted since the beginning.

@Rhyela: I just wish the bronze was maybe a more dark brown or something but I do agree that the black is really nice! I have to agree with personalities of the various Madexxs, each of mine have a very vibrant personality

@Sasrei - I understand that, and I'm glad you were able to give the bronze a chance on the PTR, I'm sorry it didn't work out for you but I'm really glad the other colors you have work so well for your blood elf! Maybe him dying on your server made him spawn for me? Sorry if that sounds weird but I was beginning to think that he was just a myth on Shadow Council since I haven't even seen /any/ of the colors Horde /or/ Alliance-side since Cata came out. o_O

I got a brown one! I named her Caramel. Dunno why. Now I must have red to complete my pack 'o stingies.

Well Black Madexx spawned for me about 2 hours ago!..I named named him midnight..
so I got blue and black...now sadly I want them all..lol and I went into this Madexx thing saying "ok just one"..then "ok maybe two"..now I look at all the pics of the red, green and even the bronze and I'm like I want all the colors...lol I think I have a rare hunting addiction...

Here is Midnight when I found him HUGE!

I first got him in green, sadly, we didnt bond. Then after another week of fly-bys & dailies, I got him in blue & thought for sure this would be the color, so pretty, alas another failed attachment. I was getting frustrated, I love this scorpid model, was so looking forward to it! Then, unexpectedly bells & whistles are going off, screen edge flash, silverdragon popping all sweet with a pic: red spawned right below me while another hunter friend was teasing me in whispers from another zone that I had tamed enough of them already & to leave the zone! With my heart hammering in my chest & shaking fingers on the mouse, I dropped down to tame him. Whoosh, flash of sweet light, mine! Red claimed my heart instantly, our bond deep & true, "MadMax" I love you!<3
Gratz to all who got him in the color/colors they want. If you havent gotten him yet... keep campin, keep the faith, never give up & never surrender! Your Beloved awaits you...

I am hoping to see him sometime soon yes this zone is my new sholazar really. Grats to everyones new tames!

Usually if I find a color I dont want, I pretty much can probably find someone who wants to tame him. Next time though he spawns in brown, black or red.. im keeping him tagged until I find someone. I do know of a few hunters who are looking for him so I am glad that I can find him a home

@Zeanah: I hear you, sometimes colors just dont work at all. The brown didnt click with Saon, as well brown and green isnt really clicking with Sas sadly but I am glad the red fits your char! Heres hoping that a blue or green Madexx is waiting for me coming server maintence.. which i doubt but hey you never know! ^.^

Well On the PTR I found him in red again.. at the same location to which is odd and is starting to make me wonder if the colors like to spawn in the same location or area..

and..... *dun dun dun*

I FOUND BLACK THIS MORNING *SIGH* he is just refusing to spawn in green or blue for me lately which is sad. I did however find him a good home with a hunter friend so thats nice.

Awesome! Good on you for finding him a home. And I hope you get your rainbow madexx. It's very strange that accidentally finding the bronze... I think it makes her more special for me. She found me, not the other way around! I like her caramel colors and she has 'tude. So I think I am honestly a fan of all of them.

Well... I found a red madexx.. dead sadly. Saw a hunter, and paladin by the corpse.. alliance side. Talked with the hunter but didnt really get a clear answer so I dont know really what happened, if he tried to tame it and just didnt tag it and it was killed while he was taming or if he came across it dead. The hunter was kinda stalking a guildie so I went to ask him what was up
