So, A couple weeks ago I had come across Loque for the first time, Tamed him, Then moved on with my life. The next week or so, I flew back just to see if there was anything interesting there. Yet with my amazingly weird luck amount, I came across him, AGAIN. I called up another Hunter in Storm peaks, Level 79 Nelf, Flew there, Tamed it, Kissed my feet, Then logged. So today, I flew to Sholazar just to yet again, See if there was anything there interesting. Found loque, Again! Called up a friend Hunter that had been looking for Loque since he had hit 76 In WotLK, But problem, Was in Stormwind. So he bought a mage port to Dal, Flew and by the time he was in Wintergrasp, another Human hunter came over, Stole Loque, And killed him. Wrecking my friends dreams of Loque.

Yah people can be real dicks like that. On a positive side there is far less people out there now so it's going to be easier to find him.

I helped a hunter tame loq once. I totally made his day to. He thanked me like 100x.

Unless you had him tagged and marked, you can't really say they did it just to be a jerk. I've done circles and asked in general and /who'd hunters every time I've found and killed Loque, and no one responds to me until ten minutes after I ask, have killed him and moved on. It's not my intention to ruin someone's day, but unless you tell me "Hold on, I have a friend who wants him" or, you know, show up in the first place, then I have no idea that you want him. I'm more than willing to drop and feign if you tell me you want him, but otherwise it's a free blue.

I understand the frustration, though. I lost Karoma to a nelf hunter with, amusingly enough, a ghost wolf as her tamed pet. I've had Aotona yanked out from under me more times than I can count. If Ghostcrawler had been killable he wouldn't be in my stables right now, thanks to a particularly jerky druid. But I also understand the other side of the story.

There are jerks out there who won't do the same things I'm willing to do, or people who just don't bother asking, but a lot of the people wrongly smacked with that label just don't know your intentions because you never tell them.

When I got my Loque I had been circle camping for a bit, not too terribly bad (that specific day not in total and we don't want to go into that, LOL). NPCscan went off right as I was going to do dailies and there he was! I was very excited and then very upset as a Nelf Druid was circling him in flight form. I kind of sat around for a second and then started the tame and the Nelf cheered me on as I did it. I got him! The Nelf logged out and congratulated me under a Horde toon. They told me they'd been spamming for an Alliance Hunter for a few minutes but no luck.

Then a few weeks later, I have my Loque and I'm happy but on my Mage this time leveling in Sholozar and whom do I come across? Yep. I spammed for a Horde Hunter and no one in my guild wanted him so I logged into my Alliance toon and asked if anyone wanted him and I got a response. I told this person where he was and to ignore the Belf Mage staring at him as he tamed. LOL

Long story short, you have situations like yours but you also have people trying to help each other more often than not. And everyone pays the same price to play...they can play however they want.

I love helping people get pets. I'm sorry to hear that your friend wasn't able to get him but persistence pays off!
