In the Cataclysm cinematic when Deathwing lands on Stormwind the statue topples forward and not backwards? If you go to stormwind they are clearly pulling the statue out of the water from the wrong side where it didn't fall o.o

It would have shattered had it actually fallen against the stones I would think o.o I could see how it could hit, bounce once, and roll sideways back in but I think the statues dimensions are too tall to permit the rolling. D:

Im also curious on how booty bay survived such a big tsunami...

Yeah, the aftermath of the tsunami looks kinda fake, like a big wave just left some seaweed and not much else. I would have expected there to have been no survivors among those who were in town at the time, as well as several buildings being thrown into the bay. You know, something like what happened to Auberdine, minus the elementals and cracked earth.

100ft tidal wave was merely a setback!

If you go to Booty Bay there is a man there investigating the lack of damage done to the place, considering it was hit full force by a tsunami. I can't remember his name and I'm still hated with the goblins there so I can't fly down to check, but I distinctly remember picking up a quest there on my mage that mentions how it was most definitely protected by magic of some sort.

However, it is clear to me that you didn’t know that:
fact #1 Sw makes their statues out of rubber- they bounce ;o
fact #2, after the cinematic ended Deathwing hopped down from his perch and moved the statue like a giant doll- he didn’t like where it had landed and wanted the look of perfect devastation to be complete.

(bonus fact) goblins have an op racial passive that reduces all flood damage by 50% when caused by dragons... they also have insurance. ;D
