Home for Karoma, a new friendship buds.

I entered twilight highlands, heading for my usual route of dailies at about 5:50 AM. I flew over one of Karoma's spawnpoints, and she happened to of been there, patting casually. I already had her, but I didn't want someone coming along to kill her while I searched for another hunter, I plopped off of my mount, tagged her and trapped while I /who'd the zone, only other hunter in the zone was an 84.

I proceeded to ask in my guild, neither of the two people online had an 85 hunter alt. My friend had come online, but alas, his hunter alt was only level 80, as was his brother's. I decided I'd ask the other hunter in the zone how close he was to 85, he replied seven bars. I told him that Karoma was up and I had her trapped, trying to find her a home. He seemed nice enough, and quite depressed that he wasn't 85. He came and looked at her while I kept her frozen, and I'm sure he was in absolute love.

I decided that 7 bars wasn't that bad, and I told him I'd keep her tagged 'n trapped while he hit it.

Plenty of non-hunters flew by, or landed and looked. One DK actually stopped and said he was taking a screenshot of her!
A paladin had said she'd kill it if it wasn't tagged. And she came back the most often.. *Sigh*

An end to the story would be that he finally hit 85 about two hours later (8 AM about :P), and he got her as soon as I dismissed my pet and feigned. :) He tried to offer me 1k, but I declined. I honestly don't see the use in the gold - she got a good home, and I got a new WoW-buddy.

I asked him if he could come with me to Thundermar, cause I wanted a screenshot of both of us with our Karoma's. xD So sorry for the bad screenie. :D

EDIT; Not sure if it was alright to keep his name in the screenie or not, so if need be I can blot it out. :P

Amazing story! Well done for keeping her up a full 2 hours without someone being a huge jerk and killing her during the wait. Always heart-warming to see stories like this :)

Impressive! You have a heart of gold and the patience of a saint. Mr. Blowthefish must have been the most thankful person in WoW at that particular time. Karoma suits him and his white locks well, too.

If there was a Mozag's Kind Person of the Day award, it would go to you.

Yeah, well it was pretty early so not many people were on I suppose, thankfully. Only person that seemed jerk-ish was the palli, but I did thank her when she didn't kill it. Tagged or not. xD

There is hardly ANY nice people on Kel'thuzad, so when I can I do try. :P And usually I do find that rare gem of a hunter friend through it. xD Mainly I had talked to him, and read a magazine while keepin' her iced, so it wasn't as boring as most would think. Though there is always the heartthrob of excitement/horror when a horde-player flies over me.. Usually when that happened I prayed they wouldn't drop down and kill me. xD

Butyes, he matches Karoma quite well. :) He ended up naming her Deliverence. And he did keep saying that he owed me, though I said it was no big deal.

It felt so good when he finally got her. While he was mid-tame he was spazzing with the "omg" and "I'm so happy", so I assume he was extremely excited, Mozag. ;P
