SAMBAS

Hi All!
I have tamed just tamed SAMBAS! it was 6:58 LOTHAR (US) server time and i had been camping him casually for about a week (i do have a job, etc.). so today after work i figured i would log in and make a round to start the night (as he has several points) i was typically sitting just north of Victor's Point then flying to other zones. When i logged in for today this is where i started. I had my Beast tracking on (no other special addon) and did not see him so I flew north towards the Thundermar ruins were he is said to paw around. THIS is where i found him he was roaming just north of the spiders cave underneath (which you will always see when flying over this area) and just south of a gathering of rocks (they were flat and jutting out of the earth). Map is below.
I saw the aggro dot on the mini map and rolled over it and it was labeled, SAMBAS. I was so excited that i froze for second then flew down a little to his left and there he was just walking around, this beast that had eluded me for about a week! I ran over to him and just started to tame him. I had heard that laying a ice trap may be helpful but I was so wrapped up in finding and taming him that i forgot all about it. He does hit HARD and knocked about a little less than a 1/4 of my health out of me but I did live without it.
He is HOSTILE, and once tamed he will automatically go into stealth mode (invisible). You will have to go to his action keys and take off the cower, stealth, etc. Even once you switch it off you have to remove it from him (i did this by left clicking the stealth key). Once removed and turned off you will be able to fully see your pretty kitty!
I have no idea what the spawn timer is on these rares (he is my 2nd, Skoll was my 1st) but mostly i hear it is about 6 hours. I have never had any trouble with people trying to kill them while taming or taunting when they see me camping. I think I have been lucky. I hope you all have as much fun as I did getting him. Remember it is when you least expect it that he'll pop up (pictures below just after taming)
