Spiritually Torn

As most here know my goblin Kwillix is going for an all- or mostly-all-green pet team, with a few exceptions. Such as a Spirit Beast.
In another thread it was helped to decide that Ghostcrawler would best suit little Kwill. But... well...

I just couldn't help myself. I asked the guild and several other hunters, but got no response. My heart was breaking that I was being almost forced to abandon Loque to a possible achievement-based fate and so I made a very quick about-face back to Nessingwary's camp, stabled my beloved green tiger Sidhe and returned to the head of the river where I'd found the snow leopard. He was still there and so I made my choice.
But now what do I do? I'd promised myself only one spirit beast on Kwillix. Do I keep Loque since it seems he was looking for me? Or do I return him to the wilds of Sholazar and await my chance at Ghostcrawler? Or even kick out a member of my green team to keep them both?
Note: Kwillix's stables aren't full yet, but I had plans to fill the gaps at a later date.

I'm all for Ghostcrawler, as you know, but I'm still more of a sucker for these "fated" tames. I say keep Loque, he was meant to be!

Why not keep them both? You have room.

^ Exactly.
Sometimes (a lot of times, actually) tames don't go according to plan. Keep both spirit beasts, and don't worry. Besides, Loque's eyes and mouth are greeny-bluish. He fits your theme

Considering all the continued time i spent looking for him it's bias on my part to say Loque but i mean one is a dead ghost crab and the other is one of the better pet models in my opinion but again bias.I'd say get both you have the stables space and while it may not exactly go in toe with your idea of an all green team with a single spirit beast it's better than having to part ways with what is a great pet.

On the one hand I consider Ghostcrawler a million times superior because it's the only spirit beast that I can sort of pretend ISN'T a "@#$% Moonfire Regrowth kitty". On the other hand... if your goal was ONE spirit beast and you have this one now, I'd recommend running around with it for a few days to see if it really clicks-- if so, keep it, if not go get your ghostly crab. Easy.

Just because someone has room doesn't mean they
have to keep it if they don't want to (not that anyone was telling him he had to, just that the whole "You have room, why let it go?" isn't a very valid "argument" [not that anyone here is arguing] to me). It's his stable, let him do with it what he will.

That aside, I
would personally suggest at least hanging onto him for a while, a week maybe? Get a feel for him, see if he bonds with you, and if you feel nothing, let him go. Just because he's rare and most people spend tons of time looking for him doesn't mean he's the pet for you, and it certainly doesn't mean you should feel guilty for letting him go. I've had him twice and let him go both times! I tamed Sambas by surprise as I was flying by and let him go, too! Sometimes you don't know what you do and don't like until you try it. So if you find out that Loque just isn't the pet for you, then there's not a darned thing wrong with that.

I picked "Keep Loque" because, like other folks I'm one for the "That tame was meant to be" point of view I also agree that Loque's model is just amazing, I did get GC, but (and I cringe to say it as it goes against all my normal pet-mad instincts) I released him, he just didn't click with me like I was hoping, and frankly I found his somewhat angry looking face a bit creepy :S
Still, I also understand the idea of having a theme with your pets. What I would say is, keep Loque for now at the very least, give him a chance, he obviously wanted to join you, so...see if you click. If you do you can then either keep him and forgo the hasle of another SB camp, or if you also want to give GC a try you can get them both for a while and make the decision to either keep both or drop one at that point.
I'd definately say keep Loque for now though, dropping him so soon seems (to me at least) like something you might then regret if you change your mind, camping him's a bitch, I personally spent about 70-80 hours total and it ATE MY SOUL! :p
Regardless, Gz on the tame ^.^

Keep Loque, or eventually both. GC is still kinda meh compared to Loque.
Sorry all but he is.

Loque's model is terribly thin and awkward-looking, imo. Plus he has the godawful jowl-sloshing yawn. I got my Nurf, and I stand behind him. Go GC, if it's one or the other! Goblins love anything that can pinch a penny.

Yeah but GC is nothing more than a see-thru crab. Atleast Loque's model is unique...And who wouldn't want a pretty kitty
It's just my opinion sorry. It took me a year of on and off looking for Loque, and as for GC I just swam there and there he was. Happens all the time when I swim there.

Depends on the opinion, as you said. I find that model to be unrealistically gangly and frankly ugly in many ways....which helped save me a lot of camping time, at least.

I say keep loque. sounds like he was waiting for you :3 I had the same reaction to Terropene, and honestly, now, I wouldn't release him for all the tea in china XD

Since you have the room now, why not keep him. Once you get GC then see who you bond with more and make your decision that way. If you decide to keep both great, if you only bond with one then keep that one. No harm in taking advantage of the stable room while you have it. =)

I'm still undecided but I'll run about for a bit. I'm a real softie for spirit beasts, so quite possibly I'll let one of my least favourite greenies go

Looking at you, Särimner. I'd always thought it would be interesting to have a felboar and I like the coloration, but the more I look at the demon pig the uglier the thing gets. He's only left my stables once since I got him

But again, there are other green options that I am considering. Princess Huhuran for example.
Thanks for the current votes, and by all means keep your opinions coming

I'll decide... Eventually.

Hmm, I would have killed for achievement (more into achievements than BM spec) however since you have him, keep him! He is one of the best looking spirit beasts in my opinion. Start a Spirit Beast collection if BM is your spec of choice. That's what I would do (if I were into BM).
*Edit, by achievement I mean Frostbitten. If I were satisfied with "Northern Exposure" I wouldn't dream of killing.

@Vanquished14: Understandable, but as a softie for Spirit Beasts, or any rare pet for that matter, I simply can't bring myself to kill the poor things. Also, I already have all 6 Spirit Beasts on my main hunter
On another note, since Loque looks like he'll be sticking around a while, I named him "Maneki", as in the Japanese "Maneki Neko" or "Beckoning Cat" of luck. After all, I was lucky to find him and he sure seemed to be beckoning me to tame him
