The bug I'm talking about is the hunter pet health bug. You'll dismount and your pet shows up at a small fraction of its health. Not too much of a hassle, unless you're in PvP or PvE and the mob just one shot your pet so you're all alone.

Now, I've never had this happen to me on my warlock, but as of recent (Today was when I really noticed it, but maybe the last few days?) my felguard will appear will a small part of his health, 445/10441 for example. He'll sit there and snap back to full, but he's already been killed once or twice when the mob smacked him down.

So my question is...Any other pet classes (Mage, DK, lock) notice this occuring recently to you? I've never heard of it happening on other pets.

It happens on all pet classes. :/ I really hope there's a possible fix for this at some point soon; I had pets die on me three times yesterday due to it. >_<

(No, that's not due to carelessness; I'm on a PvP server.)

My ghoul on Deathbybeef has died becouse of this more than once. In places where there is no humanoids around so I have to watse my corspe dust >.>

Awesome. Not only am I not feeling all silly because it's happening to me only, but I'm not insane cause it does affect other people. Good to know.

yeah, my poor babies are getting one shotted cause of it.

yeah, its a very annoying bug. been happening since the last half of wotlk. blizz was trying to get our pets to scale better with our stats or something. so all pet will come out with base hp, then stats are calculated and updated on the pet after a few second.

This happens to me many times a day. It's even more annoying if I use Heart of the Phoenix and it happens right after again!

Hopefully it can be fixed, but not sure if it's something they can adjust honestly.

It loves to lay low and only pop up when I land/dismount quickly to shoot something. Thankfully I've been questing in low level areas for my Seeker title so it's not that big of a deal, but I've had it act up when soloing dungeons and it's a huge pain in the butt.

Happens on my baby frost mage as well, which is quite unfortunate as his water elemental doesn't have much HP in the first place and the spell to resummon it has something close to a 3 min CD. I read somewhere that the hunter pets drop to the HP they had before they were tamed, but I don't know if that's true or how that would effect locks/DKs/mages.
