I chose the neat-o fiery emoticon just cause it seemed appropriate. Anywho, I was just wondering you don't have to answer if you don't want too AND I've included a neat poll if you want to remain anonymous! So!
Are you religious?

I predominantly consider myself an atheist, but my spectrum of beliefs is somewhat intricate and doesn't really fit into one category.
I'm fond of certain elements from varying religions or belief systems including Buddhism, Wicca/Paganism, Satanism, and Occultism. But in the grand scheme of things atheist sums it up the most.
I am very interested in deities and gods from different cultures and mythologies (from an academic standpoint), but I don't believe in such a being or group of beings myself.

If I quoted everything Veph said, that'd be me in a nutshell as well.
The only nearly religious thing I ever do is say things like "Oh for the gods' sake" which isn't religious at all, really. Although I have had comments on how I saw Gods with an "s".

I'm Christian I think...............I believe all ways lead to God, and mind other religions as long as they're not forced on me or hurt anyone.............lots of people these days seem to have issues with the latter.

I'll say ditto to what Veph said. I consider them all quite interesting and sometimes do a little studying on them. As for any solid belief? None. I consider myself an Atheist.

I am very much like Vephriel, although, like Redith, I am spiritual without having any one set religion, often considering myself a tad paganistic. I'm accepting of all religions so long as you don't try to enforce it upon me.

Atheist.
I could go into much more detail, but truly, it is very rarely worth the effort.

Atheist and proud of it. My opinion of religion isn't a very nice one at all. Getting frozen out in a small town because I never went to the church is part of it. :/

I believe in and love God and Jesus, but am not a Christian. I do not believe in organized religion of any kind. My best friend is atheistic, and we love and respect one another and neither of us attempt to force our views on each other or anyone else. As a matter of fact, it is because of her that I am much more loving to people who don't believe the same things I do. I used to be a bit more close-minded because that's how I was raised. Granted, we each are responsible for our own actions, but when you're raised one way for 90% of your life, it's a bit hard to shed. But nowadays I love and respect each person regardless of who they are or what they believe. It is not my right to judge others. It is my duty to respect them and treat them as human beings, the same as I am. Because in my mind, at the end of the day, we are all human beings, regardless of belief or race or whatever. We all feel pain, we all feel love, we all feel sadness......so what deity we believe in or don't believe in doesn't make us better or worse than the next person. Having a God to believe in and cling to gives me hope and a reason to wake up every day (well, that and my husband), but just because I believe in and love God does not make me better than anyone else. I live my life the way I choose to live it, and I am happy for those people who live their lives the way they choose to live it. Given that sentiment, I find it sad and horrible and pathetic that so many killings and murders and wars have occurred because someone didn't believe the same way someone else did. Live and let live.
(Wow, that sounded horribly cheesey!)

I guess I could sum up my thoughts as "I believe in the possibility of deity/deities existing, but not the probability of it/them existing".

I believe in science!
I'm atheistic, maaaaaybe with a touch of agnostic at times.
Hope this won't turn into a flame thread soon, like I've seen many times.

*would probably need to Google to find terms.*
I am a devout Pastafarian.
Jokes aside, I'm not "religous". I don't go to Church, don't pray, etc. I was never baptized or anything. Yes, we celebrate Christmas/Easter, but that's more of a "You know, everyone else in the family does it, let's do it too so we aren't left out!" then a "I am this religion and I celebrate it." I try not to use the phrase "God" in vain, but that's just because it was drilled into my head at a young age from various school and grandparent sources to not do that. It was like a curse word to avoid saying then a religious reason.
Frankly though, I could care less about religion. It is what it is. I'm happy with my stance (Dude. Free presents and candy? Yeah!) and that's it. As long as one doesn't try to force a religion, a mac, or vegetarianism on me, I'm pretty happy with life. xD

Atheist, non-religious. But if I Did have to choose a god to worship, I think I'd pick
Palgolak from Mieville's Perdido Street Station.
