Abandon Macro question

I tried to re-tame my Oil Worg the other night cause like a dummy I took mine out in arena and lost the appearance buff, but yet i cant seem to get the tame to work...did they break the abandon macro?

It was supposedly 'fixed' but I got mine to work after a couple of tries. Just can't spam the macro though.

yea just went back to try again and got it on the fifth one....
