End of the Long Hunt (loque)

Since level 76, a few short weeks after Wrath launched, I've been crawling over Sholazar Basin in the vain hope of finding the elusive Loque'nahak. Not just because he's a rare. Not just because he has a unique skin and sounds. Not just because he's the consort of Har'koa.
It's all of that, and some other, ineffable quality that drove me, day after day, to tour the Basin looking for grey spots on white fur; a snowdrop in the jungle.
I never saw so much as a corpse. I offered substantial rewards for sighting. I logged in at odd hours. I camped while watching movies.
In the end I put my quest on the back burner while I thoroughly enjoyed Cataclysm and particularly archaeology. I checked in now and then at my favourite camping spot above the mammoth graveyard, a spot I called the High Plain. Sometimes there were other hunters there, mostly not.
After dashing off to Uldum trying to complete a rare artifact I noticed that I still had 25 minutes left on my hearth. With no reason to stay, I complained about the long flight time back to Orgimmar, and then remembered my Wormhole Generator. Just a click and a swim away, and I'd be on the zepplin back to Org. But I could also port myself to Sholazar, and after briefly debating the hopelessness of actually finding anything, I went with impulse and arrived in the Basin.
Flying out to the High Plain I frowned in disappointment. No Loque. Again. I was about to leave when, to my utter and complete shock, he spawned not five yards from where I was standing. Shaking all over, I dismounted and dismissed my pet, set up a frost trap and started the tame. I kept expecting some asshole paladin to swoop in and steal him for the achievement but eight seconds ticked by without incident. A flash as he levelled and shrank, padding demurely to my side. My heart raced, I shouted victoriously and spammed guildchat:
GJNKDLHNKDLEMAL;Fmlha!!!!!!!
OMG GUYS I JUST TAMED LOQUE
I think I peed

I decided to take him over to Zul Drak to see Har'koa as well
