It's been a little over 3 days and not a lot of sleep. I've been fishing, bg'ing and running instances a few times to beat down he boredom. Well his morning after falling asleep at my desk with the ear buds still on in case npc scan picks him up, I hear ding!! Argh, false alarm! It's another hunter's pet. What a kick in the butt!!

Another sleepless night. Thank you Terror for keeping me up LOL.

Aww, I hope he spawns for you soon. Try to get some rest, you don't want to lose your health over an in-game animal! Good luck with finding him!

I had my shares of dreams and nightmares of taming him....literally. Dreams. Bah.

Quicko question. When i leave wow running while doing other things the server logs me out after some idle time. Is there a setting for this somewhere?

I have wondered this myself

one tip im goin to say, dont waste time camping, u have more chance of finding it on a flyby. i have all cat rares and all spirit beasts for example. on the cat rares i waited and waited n they never showed..then found them on flybys. loque i waited days for w no sleep, found him on a flyby too. aswell as the others, so just a tip. reconsider campin

Yha except spirit beasts have large spawn points. Terrorpene spawns only in a little area. so camping is adviseable.

i understand camping some, but dont go without sleep or spend hours on end, it can cause a lot more problems :s

LOL yeah I try not to lose sleep over it. But I'm so use to 4-5 hours of sleep a day(thanks sea life lol) that more than that gives me a headache.

Out of all my rares, Skoll was the longest to track probably because I kept going back and forth to Storm Peaks. I just set hearth to Wildheart Point and continue leveling while checking back every now and then. He'll turn up soon enough.

Ok, so now I'm offering gold up and spamming gen chat for a reward on when he's spotted. I've stripped down, on a bed of flowers(Path of Cenarious) and tricking Terrorpene to come forth. LOL, the things we do to get these rares. Wait, I hope this isn't just me. HAHAHAHA!

OMFG!!!! As I posted previous post with a screen shot and about to switch back over to game....DING!!!

As I was posting that the npc scan DING! went nuts and my heart pounded like crazy. I had to hurry and gear back up before anyone came to kill or tame him. I rushed and used Mighty Speed elixir instead of Prismatic and died almost instantly. I was so afraid someone else would get the tame on him before I got back to corpse. This time I took it a little slower and was fairly quiet with no one around. Took Prismatic elixir and said why not and casted Gift of Naaru as well. Tamed and that's that. I am so happy right now and relieved.

This place is infested with numerous ally and horde hunters looking for Terrorpene. So I spent some time here rather than quest and miss on the spawn. One orc hunter even knelt beside me trying to summon Terrorpene LOL. I love the relationship hunters from both sides have when looking for rares. After the tame, I even received /cheers from horde hunters as they swooped by.
