Shortly after I tamed my hyena, I was walking through Stormwind with him when we passed by a hunter's spider. Ed stopped, and then did a "play" motion with his butt up in the air. Never seen that before. Anyone else have special moments with their pets?

I had one sort of recently. x)

When VelkynKarma and I were camping Humar for her character Taigi, I was on my troll hunter and brought my serpent pet with me. At some point as we were standing there we both burst into dance, and right at the same time my Pet Emote addon goes off with 'Damballa wiggles happily'. It was as if he wanted to join in, and it was so adorable and just the perfect timing! ^.^ Pretty much looked like:

Taigi burst into dance.
You burst into dance.
Damballa wiggles happily.

Haha I remember that, that was pretty good timing

Not exactly 'cute' but it was 'fitting.' I was doing that one quest series in Dustwallow Marsh when you kill those undead things at Witch Hill, and eventually exorcise that gargoyle. Well, exactly at the moment the gargoyle shows up, Jackson (my Humar) growled at it in petEmote. Totally random, but so perfect!

I'm laughing at the thought of a snake trying to dance. Wish I'd been there.

I think I may have to look into this pet emote thing, too.

It's a great addon. It really adds a lot of personality to your pets, especially since the emotes are random...like they have a life of their own! You can edit them too if you have specific things you want your pets to do.

Im a bit of a noob when it comes to downloads or addons, how do i get the pet emote thing? It would make me so happy to add more personality to my pets ^_^. Welli have a couple that i think were cute, i was trying to get a screen shot of Bizkit and as soon as i shot it he looked at the screen jaws gaping like he didnt want his picture taken lol. I was sitting in the barrens chatting with a friend and he said "eww somthing stinks brb" and deathwarp sniffed the air and growled i thought it was adorable ^_^

I once had a cute moment with my scorpion once when me and some friends of mine were doing SM. When I stopped right next to this small tree, my scorpion stopped too was about halfway up the tree sideways. Then one of my friends in Voice Chat said that he had never seen a scorpion climb up a tree before and I laughed hard off the mic.

Then at another occasion when I was doing one of the Netherwing quests where you had to kite these flying mobs down to you so you can grab their relics and this night elf showed up watching me and eventually trying to taunt me (I was horde), my pet randomly did a pet emote that mentioned night elves in the emote and I laughed at that one.

So, an interesting thing happened today with my pet!

It wasn't a 'cute' moment, but it fit in oddly well. I was running Strathholme for the Elder, and figured since I'd never done it on Sil before I'd just go ahead and get the achievement while I was at it.

So I head over to the Live side first. Then I decide, hey--it's all Crusaders, I should pull Jia out since he was originally a Scarlet Tracking Hound. It'd be fitting. In Silinrul's storyline, she originally 'rescued' Jia from the Crusaders, who (being insane and fanatic and all) were very abusive to their animals.

Well it seemed like Jia remembered that too! As soon as I summoned him, he was off like a shot attacking the nearest collection of Scarlets. I'd last used him in PVP for the love is in the air achievement and had left him on aggressive...whups! But it fit my storyline so well, I was actually pretty amused

I don't have the add-on, but Iorek is my personal favorite om Firewing. I love how he is a normal dog. Loyal, obedient, fearless, ready to fight to the death for Firewing. He's very puppyish as well, which I explain as he's making up for those years he spent captured in Hellfire Ramparts.
