Yesterday, I was a nobody.

At least to the Sha'tari Skyguard. I was at 0/3000 Neutral with them.
And today? A little over 24 hours later?
I'm their hero.
And they gave me a nice Silver Nether Ray to ride around, too!

You should give it a go, Zin! Literally no one else was there the entire time I was farming rep. The only time I saw someone else was when I brought in guildies for Terokk, so they could get a chance at the Time-Lost Figurine.
Aside from the sheer mundane grinding, it's not bad. Just farm for Shadow Dust to turn in for Shadow Elixirs at 150 rep a piece. Then use shadow elixirs to farm up Time-Lost Scrolls. Ten scrolls summons a Miniboss for 100 rep a piece. After four minibosses, you can summon Terokk for 500 rep. And every mob you encounter gives rep up until revered. And after revered, everything except the Skettis Kaliri give rep. So it's not a bad grind. Just takes the patience to make endless laps. I'd say total time actually grinding (not counting afks, sleep, and generally taking breaks) was 10 hours. I could usually get 6k rep/hr, sometimes I'd squeeze out 8k/hr depending if the RNG gods were giving me good shadow dust/time-lost scroll drops.

yep. Just 10 hours, if you do it straight through. Just be prepared for a grind. You'll end up killing around ~4000 Arakkoa by the time it's all said and done.
Might want to create an epic playlist to keep you pumped.

My entire iTunes Library is Epic! *flex* But no seriously that's a good idea..

Heh, congrats! Did you manage to grab that one trinket of Terokk that xforms you into a Sethekk Bird guy? It never dropped for me while I was there.
Too bad i didn't like how the camera was on those netherrays, they just added to my mount collection mostly for me

this is by far the easiest rep to grind kill stuff, do dailies... turn dust in. . easy sauce

Yeah, I got it on my very first summon of Terokk. Have not seen it since, though. And I've summoned him ~10 times or so since.

Funny fact, Zin. The Red Nether Mount is the only mount without an "eye glow", making it unique amoung the other Nether Ray mounts.

In all seriousness though, grats - initially that mount didn't quite click for me, due to all the bobbing and the way the toon seems to be almost sitting on the nether ray's face... but I must say it has grown on me over the years.

yeah took bad these mounts are positioned weird.
I used mine for about 1 minute before shelving it.
Maybe they'll fix it eventually...maybe

Wow nice. I wish I could do it that quick! I think I'm honored with them but I get bored easily so I highly doubt I'll be exalted anytime soon.
