Looking For More -- please read

This is a request to all the rare spawn pet collectors and hunters looking for specific pets in general
a global channel on each realm / faction for hunters. So all of us searching for that specific pet can go a step further and have a live in game channel to let our fellow faction hunters know we have spotted a rare that we may already have but somebody else is searching for. not to sure if this has been suggested before or not, but i think this would be another helpful tool.

/join APetopia - for Alliance
or
/join HPetopia - for Horde

I guess I'm a bit unfamiliar with how private global channels are set up; are /APetopia and /HPetopia up and running on each and every realm?

no they get created the first time a player joins the channel so the first person that types /join channelname essentially creates the channel

And anyone can join these channels? I know nothing of private channels.
I log in, type that and then I will be in a new channel?

OK, one more question: Do we really need to have different names for the Horde and Alliance channels? Since there's no way for Horde and Alliance to be on the same channel, I would imagine that a channel Horde-side can have its name reused Alliance-side. At the very least, it's worthwhile at least trying to set up a /Petopia on the Horde and Alliance on the same server, and see if it will work.

they might as well be all Petopians. I think we have one on Nesingwary anyways... I think its either /join Petopia or /join Petopians. I forgot I just remember seeing it on one of Veph's SS once

i've used private channels for raiding pruposes in the past i'm fairly certain once the channel name is in use that name is gone so both factions couldn't have the same channel.
and Vephriel thanks for posting that, i guess i should have looked a little harder
