So, my ex and I decide to go camp for Madexx, since we both had nothing to do for the next bazillion hours before I had to go raid.
So, we get there, I'm flying around, and I see one of my friends leveling his alt. Asks me what I'm doin' out there, and I promptly tell him I'm looking for my Madexx.
What he said next made me wanna quit camping.
"Oh, I just killed him 15 minutes ago."

I was ticked.
He kinda laughed at me, which didn't make it better.


So yeah.
Friends + Madexx = dead scorpid, sad hunter.

...Ow.
And he laughed?
I would re-educate him on the plight of rare hunters and cry to myself for a while.

I was like, "-insert real life name here-, I hate you so much right now!"
He still laughed, said sorry, and linked the item he got. =.= I still hate him.

Urgh.
I guess just tell him to spread the word that it doesn't drop anything, so more people know.
Still, that sucks.
At least you know the kill time..

Yeah, but it doesn't help that I was on my way to camp WHEN he told me that he killed him.
In black, which was the color I wanted before any other color. Darn friends are so mean to me.

I wouldn't put too much stock into that, unless you know for sure the guy is serious. I stopped asking in General chat for help if anyone saw the specific rare I was looking for, because people would say, "Oh yeah I just killed him 15 min ago" etc etc etc. I'm sorry if it is true though.

He did link the item, so I'm pretty sure it's true.
