Long time lurker, first time poster.....
I'm hoping posting on here gives me some good Madexx mojo lol.

I have been pretty lucky so far and have gotten almost all the cata rare pets(just need Madexx) and also have downed Aeonaxx . Madexx seems to be a bit stubborn though. I just started this past week camping him seriously and have yet to see him. My NPCscan went off once but he was nowhere to be found. I'm thinking maybe he was tamed in a different phase then me?

Anyways, camping rares has been a hobby of mine for a long time dating back to my EQ days. I'm not giving up as I have a lot of patience. Hopefully he decides to come out and play sometime soon . I really want a blue and green one but will settle for any color at this point.

I have tamed a red and blue Madexx so far and now I'm addicted and need them all! LOL

Your Npcscan probably thought madexx spawened but it could of been someones pet. Madexx isn't phased he just takes forever to respawn. I wish you the best of luck finding yours. =)

I like blue or Black, but if it spawns Red, Green, or Brown i'll tame it anyways.

Welcome to the forums!!! You should head on over to the "Obligatory .... rare pets" thread, that one seems to have a bit of luck in it. I wish you luck on your Madexx, he's an awesome critter!

I made a post on there asking Madexx to show up in his blue attire. Hope he is listening

Your "hobby" is camping rares since the EQ days.

If you aren't picky on the color... Madexx isn't a real hard spawn to camp... you just have to stay glued to the screen.

If you are picky... then either get ready to wait awhile or start hoping you get lucky.

Madexx camping is a great way to lose hours of your life... except for one thing... it isn't "great".

If you like reading, pull out a good book between sweeps! It makes time creep by a bit quicker.

Edit: *does a doubletake at your server* I've got some Hordies over there! If I manage to unglue myself from my Madexx camp (or god forbid, find a blue one), I'll keep an eye out in the area!

Oh I wasn't getting upset or anything. I've spent way longer camping rares before. The good news is I just scored a red Madexx about an hour ago . First time I've seen him in any color. I still want a blue one though so will continue to camp some more

Well Mastodon..... If you hadn't mentioned that you want it to be a "she" I would have suggested an obvious name..... but then you probably have another pet by it.

Yes Leviathan is an amazing album.
I actually had named my Gondria Leviathan but then changed it as I have a Coheed and Cambria(another one of my favorite bands) theme going on with a lot of my pets.
I also was able to grab the blue Madexx that I been wanting today .
