So, my guildie and I were going to do some dungeons for the heck of it and for collecting charms for the holiday event. Well, I went AFK and told him to find an instance entrance, since we're 85 and can't queue for NR dungeons anymore. He found ICC. So, we looked at it for a while and said....hell, you, me, a beetle and a turtle...I'm in quest greens, you're in pvp gear and spec....we can do this! We managed to clear all the trash up to Lord Marrowgar, much to our surprise. Had a blast doing it. Marrowgar proved to be a problem though. The spikes. They are hurty. But...one day, Marrowgar....one day. We will take you down!

Hah! I remember wiping to that trash when someone accidentally pulled the middle. Nice work, you two!

did you find a good place to grind out the lovely charms? i'm a bit perplexed looking for a good spot.

never mind... Average drop rate (40%-50%?) and incredibly fast respawn rate makes this the place to be!

Great spot, thanks for the tip. Also to any Warlock's/Hunter's out there, sit here with your pet on aggressive and the charms just roll in. Unlike normal loot you still get the Lovely Charms by having your pet do all the work.

The spawn rate is incredibly fast so to stop your pet being overwhelmed park yourself in one of the alcoves (The room is shaped like a cross, sit far up into the East or West side) and use your pet's Move To command and park him in front of you a bit then s/he can get to both sides (North/South) of mobs but have little breaks in between by running back to you.

Yeah, it was fun figuring out how to deal with the trash. But the dang spikes...we could get him if he wouldn't keep spiking Korii, cause I can't kill the spikes fast enough.

Not sure if its still possible, but Goblin/Worgen hunters can actually solo Marrowgar. For whatever reason, he won't spike you if your either of those races, so i comes down to not standing in fire, and hauling ass away from Brostorm.

Interesting.....

That's the kind of stuff I love to do. I need an insane fellow hunter on Khadgar to assist my "Think we can kill this?" lemming instincts.

Lemmings instincts! Perfect way to put it! Oddly, he and I are also fond of jumping off things that will kill us....like Teldrassil.

BUT! I do have an insane ex (in the good way) on his warr, and me on my spriest, and we've duoed shitloads of things.
