The Exalted - Blue post!

We think "the Exalted" is a really awesome title. With Cataclysm we added a bunch of new reps though, and we want the title to keep pace so that it's always representative of someone that's obtained a considerable number of exalted reputations throughout the life of the game, even as we add more.
We did consider offering multiple titles for the various tiers, but "the Exalted" fits so perfectly and we wanted to avoid a potentially infinite string of titles like "the Fairly Exalted", "the Nigh Exalted", "the Mostly Exalted", etc. We also considered grandfathering in those who had already earned it but think that this title can be a unique testament to the continued efforts of reputation hunters and keep the same value as we introduce more reps and push the requirements up to match.
It's different than every other rep in the way we're raising it with a new bar to meet, and I do apologize that it wasn't communicated clearly beforehand that it was going to be functioning this way.
Straight from Bashiok. ...Cool. i'm 6 reps away from the NEW Exalted. But forget it. I don't want to re-earn what I'd already earned.

Can't deny that I'm pretty disappointed losing my hard-earned title. Luckily It's fairly easy grinding out the reps that I have closest to exalted, so I'm not too worried about it.
Still sucks though... =(

Well, i'll have Hydraxian Waterlords finished in a month or 2, so its not that bad i guess.

I guess I UNDERSTAND their reasoning... not wanting "the super exalted" and "the majorly exalted" and "the slightly friendly" type titles.
But it still really sucks having it taken away. I could see making new people have to earn 50, and letting those who have it already, keep it... kinda like they did with Loremaster pre 4.0.3.
So I understand, but I don't have to like it!

Great...just great...
At least make farming rep for the Waterlords as easy as the Thorium Brotherhood. I'm Revered with them and I couldn't get it done back then, because my raid moved on the BWL and Old Naxxramas.

What gets me with the change is that you got "The Exalted" at 40, then when you hit 45 you got "The Exalted" why not just make it at 50 you get "The Exalted"
