Stalking Olm.

I had to work today, and of course, one of my students decide that she had to attend tutorials TODAY, so I had to stay for longer then I would have wanted. Finally come home to start the hunt.

But no sign of him. Nor are there any other hunters in the area. Makes me wonder if I am in the right area. The Wowhead map spawn points are correct, no?

Anyone have a valid respawn rate on him? I've hear 1 hour to 18 so far looking around, so I'm cuious.

Anyone else want to join me in the staring at the screen and praying for NPCScan to go off?

I'm looking for him too on Moon Guard.

I'm on Drenden looking for him.

A confirmation on spawn points would be nice. Someone on wowhead was saying there are three spawn points now? :S

I was there when the first person on Argent Dawn tamed him, so now I'm back after a few hours (4 and half to be precise) and I'm waiting him out. I'll try and pinpoint a respawn timer, if I can.

Edit: If they have sped up respawn timers then going on what happened this morning on my server... The first Olm was tamed about 2 hours after the rare slime was killed. The rare slime just popped up again, so I'm gonna pat the area to see if Olm shows up.

Looking for Olm and Deathmaw- no sign of either thus far. Good luck!

JUST tamed her! 3:20pm server time, Silver Hand US

The spawn point was just a tiny bit north of the southern location shown on wowhead.

Ack Anfitrite! You got there right before I did. I'm camping there now. Darn 9-5 job... *Frets* I guess the camp begins. I'll let you know when he respawns so we can get a rate. ^.~

Still waiting on Argent Dawn to see if he makes his appearance for a second time today. Like I said, basing my theory off the first tame...

Still waiting on Drenden

Been sitting here for about 3 hours now flying between the spawn points. Looking on wowhead and here for updates. And before that I flew over to check in about once an hour since I logged on at about 2 pm server time (it's almost 7 server time now). So far nothing, but I don't know if he/she has been tamed in the meantime.

Wooot! Been camping since the servers went up this morning on Hyjal; thought I'd have to abandon my efforts and head to work if he didn't show up. So I made some lunch, came back to put in a few more minutes and there he was:) Landed, tamed, Olm is now mine!!! Btw, it was at 3:44 server time that I got him... hope that helps anyone else on my server who's looking for him.

As soon as I logged on, I saw three other hunters at the spawn point. xD I'm giving up on him for now.

I've had much company during my wait. A dwarf hunter who is sitting in a non-spawn location, a worgen that comes and goes, and other random people flying by. Had a Tauren hunter wish me luck as he stopped by to see "if owl up", as he put it.

*has happy shakes*

My internet died right after I posted this... *was furious with the company*

Took a bath to calm down and then checked. Net was back up, got on as quick as I could, logged into Shade...

And he was sitting right in front of me!

*squeel*

Now, I need to know respawn times. I'm planning on getting him on Gypsi too I think, as I am playing her more then Shade these days..

I'm currently camping him on Emerald Dream US, sitting at one of his spawn points and occasionally flying to the other while doing my homework, and so far have seen neither hide nor feather of Olm yet. I haven't heard about anyone taming him yet, though, so hopefully he shows soon <:

Does anyone have a definitive spawn timer yet? I have dailies to get done today but I don't want to leave Felwood until I tame him, so I'd like to get my hands on whatever times you guys have so that I have an estimate of how long I'll be sitting here.

Well I've found that if the slime is up, and it's killed, Olm will spawn 1-2 hours after. If not the slime, the rare wolf.

About 6 hours since the last tame.

I am currently camping olm as well, no other people around on Arathor. Did get Hell-hoot, Razza, and the grey wind serpent so far today, with periodic checks back in felwood for olm. Nothing so far though. Now to settle in for the long camp.

Wasnt there also talk of another madexx modle scorpion getting added, a color-changer? Was that added at all or is that in the future?

ya I'm lookin between both since server up, nothing yet but coulda missed out on em too.

WOOOOOOT!!! Just tamed Olm on Drenden at 7:20 pm server time at 56.5, 23.3!
