So been wondering whats the new dps thing? i kno blizz tryed to balance it out but wuld like to kno how everyones dps with diffrent specs are.

so just list which specs you have and how much dps it was on the (skull lvl)dummy. plz inculde the item level and if ur enchanted or gemd. exc...

Beast mastery: 8k

im fully gemed and 1 enchant on my bow.

I topped the charts even over a mage at lvl 84 and I was BM....X3

no idea now, before cata, i was keeping casters on their toes cause i was right behind em, being a BM and not even 5k gs. amazingly my hunter would out dps my fury warr and frost dk. atleast on 5man LK heroics. for raids, ppl dont like BM hunters. when cata came out, i was having hard time beatin mobs, lately now with a lil more gear, redone spec, changed a glyph or two. things gettin better.

I'm thrilled with the BM buffs this patch! I'm easily averaging 9-11k on trash pulls, and on heroic boss fights I've been getting upwards of 25k burst damage. (this was all with my new wasp, who was still 82 at the time)

ooh good to know. I have not retried BM yet since the patch - and I'm thinking about respeccing back to MM from Surv but not entirely sure yet.

I love BM so much this patch.

My info on a dummy:
SV: 8.5K
BM: 11.2k

iLvl: 345
Fully enchanted (minus leg armor enchant) and gemmed.

This was the testing done before I reforged more of my stats over to BM-appropriate ones. Now my BM is pushing 11.5k dps on dummy. 13.5k dps in 25mans.

My SV spec lost about 2k dps in this patch. When I did her last test before the patch, she was 10.5k dps. Same gear, post patch, 8.5k

Loving BM in my raids. There's nothing more beautiful then an extra heal for my tank, and then watching my SB hit 35k crits on a KC. *giddy*

i had some computer problems this week, just got it fixed on wednesday night. so only got to test on a couple of bosses, chimearon, twilight council and cho'gall.

on Chimearon, BM i was barely pulling 13.8K, half way through the fight (2 wipes).

switched to MM and pulled 18K.

one of my guildy is still SV, doing the arcane shot spam instead of exp shot. and was just below MM.

MM's multi shot is crap, even with bombardment.

i may have to bench my exotic pets and go MM/SV.

BM is still good in 5mans. pulled close to 19K on Rajh in HoO.

top dps in my guild is a BM hunter.

seriously, you guys are mad strong. Yall deserve it after the BS you all went through during WoTLK.

Last night, on Magmaw, I did 27% of the damage (almost 2m) to the parasites as marks between multishot and explosive/snake traps, the highest in my 10m. Didn't feel too different than in other weeks as surv.

I only pulled 15.6k on Chimaeron, but topped meters by a good margin.

Might be lower overall, but my surv numbers were similar. This works.

In BM, on a 'Raider's Training Dummie'
Was able to hold 11-12k used my baby Krushie (Devilsaur) no buffs, no food.

Was able to hold 14-15k used my kitty Sekhmet (cat) again no buffs, no food.
Same gear as BM and such.
