Petopians US Gnaked Gnome Race!

Yet again the Petopians will be hosting a Gnaked Gnome race!
When is it?
The race will be on 5th March, 2011, 9:00 PM (EST) (you can view time zones for the USA here).
Where is it?
It will be on the realm US Duskwood, Alliance side.
Wait, what is this now?
The Gnake Gnome race will be similar to the past gnome race we had but with quite a few differences. The basic premise will be everyone participating will roll a gnome on the realm Duskwood, and race from the gnome starting zone to a final destination.
Last time was kinda messy, what will be different this time?
This time there will be no teams and no relay element. You will simply make the gnome, be invited to the guild, and wait for the race to start. Rules will be laid out clearly before the actual event, and on here for people to review.
Huh, guild? Rules? WHAT IS THIS MADNESS?!
The guild is <Has A Jar Of Dirt>, led by a death knight alt of mine, named Licks. This is so everyone participating can chat and wear the same tabard during the event. There will be many rules, which will be explained below.
Ok I think I got this. But what if I want to be there, and don't want to race?
That's ok, you can be a death knight referee. You will follow the gnomes and make sure everyone is following the rules. If you plan to do this, let me know in a PM ahead of time. You will need the DK to be completed with their starting quests by the time of the event.
So if I plan to be a death knight there I should PM you. What if I wanna race and take home the gold?
You will not need to PM me. You will, however, need to have your gnome ready to go at the time of the event.
Ok, gotcha. What're the rules then?
Rules for Gnomes:
- You must be level 1, having 0 exp at the start of the race. This mean you cannot explore anywhere with the gnome. There are mailboxes in the 1-5 area, so you may mail things to the alt or get your account wide pets.
- Your gnome must be stripped completely of any gear with stats, including armor. Tabards, shirts, and gear for cosmetic reasons is allowed.
- You may not spirit resurrect during the race. You will have to run back to your corpse. If you cannot make it back to your corpse, you are sadly out of the race.
- You can take any route you like to the destination, but it must be on foot. You cannot use ANY method of transportation besides running at all times.
- You cannot use any stat or health boosting items during the race. This includes health potions, health stones, bandages, etc. Anything like that at all is not allowed. Class buffs are allowed (ie Imp's Blood Pact).
- You cannot have any buffs outside of what your toon can provide you with.
Rules for Death Knights:
- Your task is to only follow the gnomes and make sure noone is breaking the rules. You are not allowed to intervene in anyway, including killing creatures, unless given authority to by me.
So, ok. Why are we racing?

That's a lot of gold for a simple race!
Wait... 3,000 gold on a realm I don't have any toons on?!
Of course not silly! It will be given to you on US Nesingwary to a toon of yours in the Petopian guild.
