Well it went a little like this.....While camping Rex Ashil, I tamed Grubthor but I didn't really want him so I set him free. Not too much later, I tamed Rex Ashil and had a very good run with him through Grim Batol. But something was tugging at the back of my mind....Grubthor.......and my heart sunk.......I wanted him back........so I went back out to Silithis after no sign of King Krush....and he wasnt around. It broke my heart. I called out for him for a good 3 hours....and finally he appeared in the EXACT same spot I tamed him before, near the Twilight Cultist Camp area in the southwest bu the Ruins of AQ. I was so happy to see him and I've named him Grimm......after Fantastic Four's Ben Grimm(aka The Thing).

Congrats! I like his eyes.

I like the name you picked, too, it seems to suit him.

I think so too.
BTW, your sig seems to not show up due to bandwidth. Might I suggest using tinypic.com instead? Photobucket is bleh sometimes.

I think it's pengupuff's photobucket. I just copied the URL from her thread and pasted into my sig. I noticed it but felt too tired to worry about it right now.

Ah. Well now you got a site that can help so it doesnt do that. Photobucket is evil with that sort of thing.

Wow.....worms are AMAZING with it comes to downing trash. I had ol' Grimmy up the entire run in Grim Batol and he was throwing me up to 11k dps burst, and the warlock was impressed cause I kept kicking his butt on each pull and I did the most damage in the entire dungeon. Tank got a little pissy though saying Worms were for tanking(when all of us here know that while Tenacity pets can be built for tanking, arent necessarily specced to be tanks. Mine is specced for purely DPS) and Grimm wasnt pulling any aggro except when the tank was being a butthead. He even saved the group for completely wiping when me and Lucas were the only ones still alive on the first boss(for some ungodly reason, no one but me and Lucas moved the hell out of the way of his Charge attack) and Grimm had growl on and was tanking him like a champ and took him down hard. >D

Grubthor does have such a great skin. To date, only Aquaregia (Grubthor) and Hooch (The Beast) have been complimented by a complete stranger, and the latter was back when The Beast had a boss tag.
As for the grumpy tank, I might as well throw this out there (not an accusation); that tank would have had a right to complain if your worm was using Thunderstomp. While I recognize that Thunderstomp isn't as powerful an AoE magnet as Death & Decay, it is meant to be a threat-generating ability. Thunderstomp does damage, but it also costs a disproportionate amount of focus for the damage done. In other words, using Thunderstomp means lower DPS but higher TPS for your pet.

Grubthor got quite a few compliments. He seems to be rare, not just for the mob itself but no one really uses him!
He does use Thunderstomp cause WHU said to spec into it. I guess they did they just to get down the tree more.

Speccing into Thunderstomp is a good idea, for the same reason that speccing into Taunt is a good idea; you can make your pet into an emergency tank when needed (certainly helps that you already had to spec into Grace of the Mantis). Taunt pulls the boss off the healer, and Thunderstomp boosts your pet's TPS.

yeah WHU doesnt spec into taunt cause it's useless for DPS. Growl works just as well on it's own and Thunderstomp boosts it in the "OHCRAP" situation.....like I stated above on GB's first boss.

Hehe I know that sinking feeling when you abandon a pet you wish you didn't, I'm good at messing up like that, especially back when our stables were so limited in size (still are!). Glad to see you found him again so quickly, he's such a happy little worm lol
I though about getting rid of mine when the black Jormungar (Rattlebore) became tamable as that model is quite awesome too but I couldn't do it, couldn't let go of my Grubbulus, not with his little green eyes and his happy little face staring at me.
I'm still sad they ruined his solo tanking ability though with the aoe threat dump as we cleared many dungeons together, just the 2 of us. He still has a warm place to stay in my stables, I keep him well fed with the occasional roam but Crumbles (Jadefang) has taken over his tanking duties for now.

He is. Always grinning. x3
Yeah I noticed I can only use it once before it becomes impossible to get again. I wonder if I can turn Thunderstomp off.....

Oh hehe yeah, I find burrow is usually only a once per fight kinda thing, unless its a long fight. I keep thunderstomp on my pets bar just in case I have to turn it off, sometimes you only want to fight 1 mob and it gets you in trouble...oh its great for pulling neutral mobs too. =P

Thunderstomp is turn offable. You right click it like you would any other pet ability and he won't use it.

There's also a cooldown on Burrow; you can't just spam it.
