Thanks to those who helped me Level my Engineering to 450. I have decided to Make Mechano-Hogs for anyone interested, and have Donated to the Cause

With the help of Orzhov, the materials that must be bought can be acquired for 10k gold, making production alot easier.

Please Note a few rules before deciding to join in:
~You must donate at least 1k in order to join the groups (listed below). Since 1k is fairly easy to come by, We figured it would be an agreeable amount.

~The raffle will be broken down into groups of 10 people, each having donated at least 1k gold.
NOTE: Even though a group may be filled with 10 names, Don't fret! There is no limit to the number of people that may donate, You will merely be placed in another group of 10 awaiting their turn at a hog.

~Various methods will be used to determine a winner. Currently we are going to use the in-game dice roller (1-100), The Members in that group will be notified a day beforehand, Along with a set of 10 randomly chosen numbers, Hand picked by our panel of number picking monkeys. (We feed them.. we promise)
NOTE: If you have any ideas for new and unique ways of choosing a winner, please feel free to voice your opinion in this thread ^^

**NOTICE** If your number was called out, and you weren't online to receive your prize, It will be mailed out to you via the in-game mailing system. If you do not claim your prize within the 30 day limit *IE the time mail lingers within your mailbox* It will be sent back and another drawing will be held with the group that the mechanohog was meant for.

~Beginning the second raffle onward, there will be a second place prize implemented in the raffle, if you do not win the first prize, don't fret! There is still a chance you could win a shiny new pet :3

~Aside from the 1k minimum, there is no limit to how much you may donate to help the cause, In fact, We reward those who donate more by putting their names in more than one group, to give them a fair chance at winning a hog in each raffle. IF however, you donated more, and have won a hog before your last round in the groups, you may opt to receive any leftover gold you donated.

~Please, If you already own a hog, or already won one from the raffle, be courteous to those who haven't won. You may still choose to donate, but note that your name will not be listed in a group again.


**REMINDER** If you decide to donate to be in a group, Remember that your donation goes to help the guild as a whole. Do Not expect to see your money back to you if you do not win in the raffle. The only way you may get your gold back, is by one of two reasons: 1) You have won before your last up at the raffle and would like the remainder of your donation back, OR 2) The raffle has been canceled. With this option, details will be given IN-game to all group members, as well as noticed in this thread.

Ooh what a fun idea! I've always wanted a Mechano-hog but could never quite convince myself to save up that much gold for just a mount. This method is great, even if I don't win I know I helped a guildie get theirs, so there's no down sides.

She could do that..but she has allready said people dont have to be online to win the raffle...so that kinda kills it.

I think the best way to do it would be to use the roll generator in-game. If anyone wants to witness it for themselves, they can be online at the time and ask to be in a group with Doreh in order to witness the rolls. While I doubt that will be necessary, the randomness will be a lot more reliable than the Last Relic of Argus (what happens if Moonlost winds up in some area that hasn't been reported on Wowhead yet?).

In my opinion no, regardless of honor or what have you a 10 person all out war is a bad idea. What happens when 2 people attack the same target, that doesn't quite make that persons chances all too even. I pose that if you want PvP to decide the winners, use a Tournament style set up with pre-planned duels, who vs who.

Where the numbers stand for each combatant, the o stands for the result of the fight, and x for the fights that can't happen - I.E. person number one fighting person number one. The person with the most wins would be the victor. This method also naturally prevents Ties.
This method is far more "Fair and Balanced" Than what I have had chance to see so far.

It also prevents "accidental Deaths" While on the way to the designated area as well as during the appointed duel.

As a small suggestion, same class would be a fantastic idea since low level hunters can pretty much 2 shot anything with arcane shot.
A good fair duel for low levels is hard to do considering classes and their abilities but, here is a catch.
We have 10 or so spots, Warcraft has 9 classes, 10 if you include DK's. So it could be possible for everyone to pick a class and do the Round Robin that way or everyone pick the same class or even just a free pick meet here lets duel.

How you choose to handle it will definitely be interesting.

I had the alliance version way back like about 2 months after Wrath came out and you had to be lvl 80 to own the mount. It's a very fun mount. I would get one soon as you can! You won regret it. Imagine how neat it would look if your gas mask on ?
