Could you get the phpBB standard smilies for black backgrounds set up for the dark theme? The bad transparency for the white background smilies is jarring.

Egad. I had no idea how bad those were, Saturo. I downloaded a set with better transparency, although it took me some Cntrl-F5 refreshing to get them to display for me. But tell me if these are better.

(Next I should fix those awful name colors for you. But I think I need more magic for that.)

Actually the next thing I need to fix is the topic icons, but the ones I found are the wrong format (png vs gif) so it's not a straight substitution. Lemme work on that.

Edit: The old ones just disappear from existing threads when I remove them, which is annoying. But I can at least take them off the list so they don't get used any more.

All I had to do was search for 'phpbb dark smilies' - it just never occurred to me to do that. I'm using the dark theme for the moment, but I'll probably switch back, so let me know if there's anything else that looks wonky.

Well, the quick reply doesn't show any formatting options and I sort of miss the Unread Posts button that you could access everywhere, but it's just one more click to get to it.

Both of those are template things with the dark template. Once I get a template for a 'Petopia' theme I'll make you a dark version.

Honestly, I don't know how you deal with the colors right now. My eyes feel for you.

ooo i think i need to switch to the dark theme now. getting intuned to my future Sith self...

I tend to not look at the ugly top. I just really like the darkness of it, it's got my favorite colors! (Grey and darker grey!)

Royi, go into the User Control Panel and set it under Board Preferences > Board Style > Lucid Lime.

oh gotcha its that layout. i've tried it before, I just dont like that it doesnt have all the fancy View your posts, view new posts (or i just dont know where its located)
