I thought this was pretty cool - I got an in-game mail from someone today saying that he had seen me piddling about in Dalaran with King Krush. It inspired him to camp him himself on his horde toon, and so after 19 hours he finally managed to get him. He then requested that we meet in Dalaran somewhere to have our pictures taken together with our Krushes! I'm the night elf on the left, he (she?) is the troll on the right.

I didn't even think that was possible! I've tried to send mail between my Horde toons and Alliance toons and it won't let me! Anyway, it's cool that you guys had a meeting of the minds and he got a Krush too. It seems like pets can bring people together.

Actually, the Troll had an alliance character that she used to send messages with.

Oh okay that makes more sense. Still is nice to see cooperation between the factions instead of "Imma gonna gank you!" I help out hunters of any type myself.

A long time ago I wrote the guide for taming ZG Raptors with only 3 people. About 2 weeks after it was posted here on Petopia, I got an in-game email from a player who used my guide on his Horde toon, and thanked me for the guide. He was on a different server so he made a toon on Draenor to thank me. I thought it was cool. He did it with only 2 people, him and a rogue. But the idea was cool.

Hehe, that's nifty. Always nice to find cool people of the opposite faction.

Yeah, unless a character (on either side) pulls something completely stupid, I usually try to be nice to any and all chars I meet in game, regardless of class. It's even better when they're polite back, too. I remember saving an alli priest once who was getting beat on by like four gorillas in Feralas, and when all the mobs were dead she actually /thanked me. Niceness and politeness! Gasp!

But yeah, that's pretty neat! It's cool to see you inspired somebody else to take on one of the toughest tames in history

That reminds me of a time that I saw a blood elf paladin getting beat on... so I rushed to his rescue. It was then I realized there was more than one. And they were elite. Ouch.

I love rescuing people cross-faction. I'm a carebear; I'd rather do that than gank people. Not that I haven't done that too, but it's usually more of a defensive tactic than anything else.

I digress. Very happy story. I love when that sort of thing happens and it's why I love visiting these forums. We're players with a common goal!

I always help out anyone I can. I always find it funny when someones about to die (them horde, me Alliance) and i volley/Warp-stomp, and they're pissed i tagged something and /spit on me... XD And I always /wave when i see horde destroying Goldshire/wherever else when i'm on my baby hunter.
