Why am I so lucky? I will tell you.
I was looking for Loque'nahak, with little success. Eventually I got bored and went to Goldshire (which I usually avoid) where someone was showing everyone their spirit beasts. When they were showing Arcturis (who I wasn't origonally planning on taming) I was stunned by how pretty he is. After I went back to looking for Loque, then Gondria, then Skoll. I didn't any of find them.

I was about to go to bed when I decided to see if Arcturis had spawned. I flew to his spawn point, then thought I might as well wait there for a while since he only spawns in one place so all I'd have to do is sit there doing nothing. I tabbed out of wow to look at info about Arc.... And when I tabbed back in.... Guess who was behind me

It took me a while to find the tame beast button in my excitement
It seems I was there for 5 minutes until he spawned. He still needs a name, feel free to suggest one~

Haha, congrats! that's pretty much how my tame went for him, too. I almost feel bad he was so easy, after hearing about the nightmare camps of other people...

As far as names go, maybe Ásbjorn or Espen, which my two minutes of googling suggest mean something along the lines of "divine bear", and considering the length of your camp, it almost seems like it was ordained or something?

Espen sounds like Aspen. Divine polar bear skiing!

Funny, I'd misread it as ESPN the first time.

....Maybe Espen isn't the best idea after all.

Yeah, I kind of feel bad about how quickly he spawned, most people have to wait hours for him to spawn . I guess being awake at 5 AM when hardly anyone else is there to kill/tame him helps.

I like both of those names, I'll wait for other names and see which I like best

Grats! You ARE lucky! I camped him for soooo long, like just sat there for hours. Happy to hear you got it quicker. lol

It was shocking how quickly he spawned! Shame about how long you had to camp him though

Grats on your tame and that you got the one you really wanted.

He is one tame I feel guilty about obtaining myself. After checking several times throughout the day he finally spawned but there was already a hunter flying there afk. I whispered them and got no reply so I thought hell I'm going to tame him before someone else does or even worse, kills it. I had to make a fast decision on the spot because the zone wasn't exactly quiet and I know rares have a very limited up time but I still feel bad for that hunter.

When I tamed him it was about 5 AM so no one else was camping him. So I don't have to feel as guilty. I still feel a bad though because most people have to wait hours for him instead of minutes.

Mine was at a similar time--about fifteen minutes before server restarts actually!

My luck continues!
I've just found Loque!
