WoW Petopia Community

I am getting closer to having a functional Petopia-like theme for these forums. I'm beta-testing it now myself. If you'd like to help out, you can.

1. Go to your User Control Panel.
2. Go to Board Preferences.
3. Look for the Board Style drop down.
4. Choose "petopia".
5. Post feedback here.

Please note - this is a work in progress! I'm not aware of anything that's completely broken, but lots of things are ugly and the posting editors in particular are missing some features.

It's so very green.

That is indeed one word for it.

I personally like it, but the posts are a bit bigger then the sliver theme I've been using on the forums ^^ You've kept the green petopia colours though the icons for the topics are red (like where it says WoW general) maybe find a more suiting shade for the green-ness

Yuck! Far too green for my taste. Seems fine otherwise, though. I think I'm sticking to the old Lucid Lime, anyway. :P

It ended up being too bright for my eyes and everything looked so huge...I felt out of my comfort zone. XD

Ooh! I just noticed! :D You've added a favicon! Or was that already there and I was just too blind...?

Well, like others said, it's huge. The post buttons are now at the top, which confused me. And sending a PM is now extremely confusing, or at least to me, because buttons are in new and weird places. The colors are nice, but the format irks me. That may be because I'm used to the subsilver2 though. >.>;

That said, the quick reply drop down thing is kind of neat.

A little too green for me. I'd suggest keeping the Green bar at the top with the slime and making the bright lime green middle white maybe?

Other than that, it certainly compliments the site.

I love the green....but get rid of the slime and put a real pet up there.

And make it not so big. XD

Nice green colours, very complementary to the site. I think it's coming along well.

For personal preference though I've always been fond of subsilver2. ^^ I probably could never switch away from it. I'm far too used to that appearance and I've never been great at adjusting to visual changes like that. x)

This is how I feel. I swapped between em today just because and I went O_O and crawled back to subsilver2.

I'm actually not a huge fan of the white background - maybe make it a darker shade of green instead? Or swap the green and white? Some of us like our not-white backgrounds. >_>

The default icons are a bit more complicated to understand at a glance, although that might just be me resisting change...xD

The slime actually fits really well in that corner, but a "legit" pet should probably be up there instead - like a red crab! Or perhaps another green pet; possibly a green carrion bird or green Madexx. Of course, if he's just a placeholder, please disregard.

The whole "BIG" thing has already been covered, but just wanted to concur; this is very large. xD

I swapped back mostly because my eyes can't handle the bright green, otherwise I may have tried it longer. I'm also just stubborn and like the setup on subsilver2 because it means I don't have to relearn all the icons and everything. XD

Me too.

I like it, I really do. I love when forum skins match the actual site. But, like others said, the text in posts is huge. Also, the white of the board backgrounds is kind of bright, and perhaps a wee bit darker of a color could fit more nicely? I also like the little slime, he looks sharp and sleek. (of course, that's what I prefer; sleek, sharp, rounded borders, etc. xD)

edit: I think the board highlight color would fit the boards better as the default color rather than the highlight.

I like the colors.. But prefer the board layout setup on subsilver.. Otherwise seems fine
