I don't understand why everyone says how easy getting him is. I had a group of me (85) two other 85 hunters, 85 warrior tank, and 85 shaman healer. We wiped four times on the first boss who was not even glitched...then after slowly going through the raid people start saying how it's not worth it, "all of this for a stupid pet" and start leaving the group. Then it's just down to me and a shaman and we make it all the way to the red dragon boss (forgot name, its right before Chromaggus) and he leaves, and the boss owned me in a few hits. So after hours of work and repair bills I never get my pet. The best part of it all was out of the four people in my group two of them were guildys (they left) and one was my hunter buddy (he left) and the shaman who stayed was just some person I found in trade chat.

Well if people doesn't communicate or work together of course it's hard. Sounds like you were very unlucky with the people you got together with you. I and a few guildies 3 manned it, back when we were still only 80. It went in skype and all that, and we wiped on first boss because I accidentally auto-shot the boss.

Had you been on my server I could've taken you through there.

Ouch D: Most people these days are just like "I dont need this, I have what I want, so screw you" Its really selfish and bugs alot of people. I do wish you the best of luck getting your demon-pup though!

The guild I was in was very high guild level but the guildys were very very rude(I wont go in detail) so I left that guild and joined a new guild, and the people are awsome! I set up a guild raid for Blackwings lair next week saturday but I don't think we have enough 80+ to come. Pray we even get to go!

Seems a lot of high level guilds end up being really nasty like that. Good luck hun!

They sound like idiots tbh, and you'll be better off rid of them. Consider it Chromaggus's gift to you

He IS easy if you have a group who knows what they're doing. If a group of several 85s wiped on the first boss, quite simply, they're doing it wrong.

I know the tame will be easy, I tamed terrorpene at level 83 :p
But the problem is just getting to him >.<

Yeah...Chromaggus did you a hell of a favor. XD

I tamed Terrorpene at 81. All good. Chromaggus is definitely worth it. If you were on alliance and on MG, I'd totally help you.

I should specify, I mean the getting to him. BWL was easy with a few 80s, and it's even easier with a couple 85s. I actually don't get how a lvl 85 group with dps and a tank and healer could wipe on Razorgore : / Hence me saying--as the excellent photo above demonstrates--they were doing it wrong!

I think the only pain in the butt part is the slow room.

yeah at 85 the only reason there should be a wipe on razorgore is because of glitching. I'm sorry that your group was non communicative and went to bwl with the mindset of it being a faceroll. Once you get past Razor it does get easier, and to be honest, an approach now that might work for getting guildmates to go there is the fact that it's a guild achievement now.

I dunno...I was doing it again last week to help my BM get the pet on his hunter alt with 5 of us, including a healer, and the boss kept killing everyone. As soon as control was lost, almost instantly the boss suddenly "dies" and kills everyone. Dunno why, even tho the boss was at full health cause the healer was healing him, but it might've been a glitch. We got tired of it pretty fast and gave up.

Yeah, if he's randomly dying, it's definitely a glitch

there's also the timer on using the orb if you break the mind control early.

Has anyone a link to a decent guide for BWL? Maybe even one for small groups/soloing? I would like to tame Chromaggus, but I have no idea what I'm up to.

It's not you. Razorgore is known to be bugged (as in, there's been a blue response: they know it, he's broken); some people've gotten past him, no idea how. Tried for about 30 minutes with my usual Tuesday-night two-man team and gave up.

The funny thing is that it's actually much easier to tame Chromaggus than it is to fight him, so I've tamed him about twenty times at this point... I was really looking forward to running BWL this week; I find it hard to believe that 4.0.3 introduced a strange "bug" into an instance no one much runs anymore.

On the other hand, I can easily believe that Blizzard just noticed that a full two-man BWL clear will get you about 500g... and is going to magically fix both "errors" in an upcoming patch.

If you can get past Razoregore and Vaelstraz the Corrupt then you should be home free. I did everything twice over (once for me and another for my guild master) and our ret pally healed while i MC'd Razoregore n killed eggs, we burned down Vael quickly, i could easily run through mobs and FD to get them off me (didnt tho cause guildies were there to kill stuff for me) and i Disengaged over to the Drakonid boss and solod him while the guildies were running baywatch style through whelps and well, we downed every boss, tamed chromaggus, downed nefarion (then we did the exact same thing for guild master and it pretty much ended up the exact same way as first run through)

the ret pally was lvl 80 and then lvl 83 and not geared, i wasnt geared and lvl 85, guild masters mage and her hubbys DK were not geared and 85, on the second runthrough guild master took her hunter and she was lvl 80 not-geared either. Its very odd that you guys died so much and terrible that your guildies ditched cause they felt it was stupid Im in a small family-style guild so we're pretty close but regardless i still believe in seeing someone through their quest till the end (whatever end that may be)

I know for a fact my guild would love to go there and help out. We did! went there before the patch, but Razor glitched and we wiped. We were also getting Jenkins for the group, and UBRS and LBRS achives, so by the time we got to Razor peopple had to go and plus he glitched..Just bad luck I guess.

I think you should start looking for a new guild..or new friends. Big guilds are usualy people who just spammed trade for 4 days and filled the barn wiht members. Smaller guilds on the other hand tend to have better relationships and bonds with eachother. Maybe it's just on my server? Maybe.
