Curious if there are other hunters out there, who like me, have that one untameable animal you would love to tame & even though you know it's untameable, and likely always will be, you still go back and " just check" from time to time just to be certain???
For me it's Runty (beast) from Blackrock Caverns, & on occasion the whale shark (lol) I know they'll never be tameable but I still have to check from time to time to just triple check that beast lore status. I forget the event but the whale shark never crossed my mind until that event where the GMs spawned a whole heap of them in the cities, forget the reasoning behind it now but ever since that day I thought for kicks and giggles whipping out a whale shark would be entertaining
I tend to throw a beast lore on the Korkron wolves every time I head into SoO. I know there is no reason for them to change them, but it's a habit now. There are enough examples of other armored beasts that are tamable though, that I think it would be shame these guys don't end up being so somewhere down the track.

Yep, I do the exact same thing! Every time I'm there.
Otherwise it'd probably be Rocs or Dreadravens that I tend to check randomly on. I don't suspect they'll actually be tameable, but it's fun to hope.

Silly question, but do you head into SoO often? I'm curious as to the reason!
Personally I have been checking Horridon (and to lesser extent, Oondasta) every now and then when PTR gets updated. It's probably just a false hope, but maybe someday...
It's obviously a newer thing than some of these, but I always check the Thunderhorns in Stormheim when I run by. It's my favourite of the yak/oxen skins and so naturally it's the only one that's in the game but not tameable anywhere, lol :x
Ji-kun, Amani bears, armored boar from Ashran, any of the many dinos (Un'Goro for example), regular snake/python models like from Throne of Thunder or Wailing Caverns, ground-rooted worms... really, just about any creature we don't already have access to that's mildly interesting will get a beast lore tapped on it if I'm ever in the area. Sometimes even try to tame anyway if beast lore says I can't.
I like to check void hounds, especially the Hounds of Culuthas in Netherstorm. Also, dinosaurs around Isle of Thunder, especially the Zandalari Battlebeast (armoured direhorn) that periodically attacks the Shado-Pan cave, Horridon, and the Loa-Infused Bladetalons and Tamed Bladetalons (black and green armored raptors).
Freakin' diemetrodons. Whyyyy. Why aren't they part of the crocolisk family in the first place?! They use the same bloody rigging. I just... urgh. Gimme the sailbacks already.
someday I'll find someplace to host a sig that isn't stupid money-grubbing photobucket
Armored Kor'kron wolves in Siege of Orgrimmar, Oondasta, Horridon and, in general, armored dinosaurs on Isle of Thunder. I have a thing for armored pets, but sadly there is only so few of them.
Would just about do anything for a chance of pet that uses Alliance's Prestigious / Vicious Warsaber mount model, though it's less likely to happen than even Oondasta
The ones I always check when I come across would be:
• The Kor'kron Dire Wolves in SoO.
• Rams (I honestly don't understand why these aren't tameable already and in the goat family. The goat family could really use another model in it.)

Reason for ban: Reporting an item duplication exploit with Pet Battles I accidentally found during Mists of Pandaria. 3 week duration.
Before 7.2 everytime I was doing the swarm world quests on my Demon Hunter I was always wishing we could tame them on our hunters then with 7.2 the first new pet I went and got was Snowfeather along with hatchling now all I need is the mount and I will have my Snowfeather family.
