From the patch notes for tomorrows patch looks like Blizzard heard our cries as far as having to deal with those annoying players and their stupid toys now they can only use it on each other in groups the funny thing is the forums are crying injustice seems we know who the annoyers were.

I guess I'm one of "those people" then I was amused by the Piccolo of Flaming Fire, even when I wasn't the one using it. Are they doing the same to the owlbear statue? This makes me sad. It was a sort of generally harmless and amusing way to interact with each other, a bit mischievous but it didn't do any harm.

We can have nice things just when players abuse them like they did with the flute makes it seem we can't I really don't see why this is a big deal and why are players defending this change as it is a bad thing if you want to spam them just make a group and do it to each other no more annoying random players anymore.

Could always just move to a different server if you hate Moon Guard so much. I'm sure there are less annoying servers out there.

Never said I hated it in fact avoid the cesspool and it is a decent server with decent players just in certain areas is it annoying.

I'm kind of bummed at this. While this can be kind of annoying at certain RP events, I've learned how to ignore them and just continue on. They really were harmless toys. I don't find them nearly as annoying as the train set was.

I hope it is one that gets nerfed to me it also is annoying even though you right click it off the dumb thing keeps coming back till you are forced to be a chicken but hey each our own.

Best thing for those who like this is that you can still use it with others just make a raid and have a 40 player dance party it isn't going away just being fixed for those who don't like it.

Same, I'm a little sad at this too. My server's always been fond of playfully doing this to each other in one AH, but we leave the other AH alone for ppl who want peace and quiet. I can see how it annoyed others tho.

Would've preferred of they just made it an option tho, like opt out of that screen glow when your character is drunk. Opt out of loss of control toys stuff.

Making a raid doesn't really solve it (for me). Sometimes I bump into friends in city that I want to surprise, but putting them in group ruins surprise.

I mean its not the end of all things, nor even the most omg yay things to me. Just kind of a bummer but I'm sure there's still other things or toys my friends and I will play with each other

At least, LFR will be far more entertaining now since people will need to get their random dance party fix somewhere else now.
Sadly, AH's around the world will be dull lifeless places of afk'er. The random shenanigans in Class halls will be a sad thing of the past...how dare an MMORPG have random stuff happen.

I'm very happy about this change. It's not eliminating it as a source of fun, those people who like these toys and effects can still do it in their groups, raids, etc. but for those of us who hate it and just want to be able to do our stuff in the AH or other crowded places in peace, it will be a balm to soothe our souls.

In context, i don't like anything that remotely feels like you (the generic "other person") are making my play experience less enjoyable. I have limited time to play and want to maximize the efficiency of my play time.

Yeah, back when I was PvP'ing in organized groups, I had the train wrecker on one of my action bars, just to stop that annoying train set while in the AV entrance cave.
