So, how many of you others went out and tamed some? I went and got the Black Stalker and one of the random Terrokar forest ones :P

I got the Black Stalker and a purple Outland basilisk for now. :) Sadly I don't think I'll have room to keep either of them once the MoP pets are added to my stables, so I figure I may as well spend time with them now while I can.

Well, I may keep the Black Stalker, but I'm torn between that and Glimmer, and I can't decide which 'species' of water strider I want more.

At least this period gives you time to see if they grow on you :) Try out a few different ones and see :)

I tamed the Black Stalker and Stonegazer, the red outland basilisk. They're great! I especially love the striders' animations.

Grabbed a Water Strider... will probably re-tame the three colors multiple times just so I know what I want going into Pandaria... I know I want a fen strider model, in any case.

I'm not sure yet if I want the blue one or Hexapos.

I tried a basilisk in the beta and wasn't sure how I felt about it's main ability for general huntering. I never got around to trying a water strider though, so I might have to go investigate one and see what I think =D

I picked up a blue sporewalker and a black and blue basilisk.

And Marticar. Because he's Marticar. (He won't be staying.)

Tamed the Black Stalker and a Greystone Basilisk (the one that hisses when clicked). Will keep the basilisk, but will be getting a Pandarian water strider once they are available.

I tamed the blue water strider right outside the Cenarion Village in Zangarmarsh. Same one as on Beta. This will be Stella's form for now until I can tame Hexapos in MoP. And since I have the extra room I went ahead and tamed a purple Outland Basilisk, Kamehameha, to see if we bond more than we did on beta.

Tamed a red outlands basilisk but a couple of people asked me if they can tame basilisk and water striders so not many hunters know right now.

I went out right away and got a green fen strider and then Ironeye the Invincible from Thousand Needles (black and blue basilisk) and then for funsies I went to Desolace and found Hissperak too. (black and purple basilisk....don't know if I'll keep him because he still has the blue base to his fringe things and it looks weird to me) I didn't think I'd like basilisks, but Ironeye has really grown on me. I don't really use his special too often, but he sure does look cool running beside me.

Like a lot of people I went and tamed the Black Stalker, one of the saddled raptors from Drak'tharon keep and just now went and picked up Hissperak from Desolace. Quite confident I'm the first person on my server to tame any of them... Although can't be 100% on that of course. I just wanted to be the cool "I tamed it first!" person for once. :p

I wanted to name my new strider SirLegsalot but it kept saying the name was reserved <_< so I settled with Legsalot. He's gotten me a couple of whispers and my raptor too also pulled some interest.

Named my new lisk Catoblepas after the beasties from FF games. He actually matches my PSD really well!

Not sure if I'll be keeping any of them through Pandaria, we'll wait and see. I have a Pandaria Water strider bug in beta which I am fond of and I like Glimmer and the white fen strider but there's loads I want to try out. Defo want the pink crane, a new tiger and perhaps one of the rare quilin colours. I like chasing rares so I will probably go after many of them. Then there's the point if the guild starts raiding again and I need to go pick out new pets for buffs.

So much to consider!!!!! I'll end up with too many cats again... I just know I will...
