Really, why?

While I know Gyreworms aren't creatures at the moment, there *is* a section under 'Worms' for them. So:

Norvakess, summoned by the quest, is an orange gyreworm (the same as http://www.wow-petopia.com/look/ringwormorange.html

While making a lowbie tauren. I noticed this lonely gazelle on the top of Fargaze Mesa, right outside the tauren starting area (the place tauren take a potion and fly to Bloodhoof Village).

It is the black Gazelle skin. I checked petopia and it only mentions a level 3 gazelle in Northern Barrens and a 90 in DreadWastes.

He still does the attempt the run away thing mentioned for the Northern Barrens ones, But there is less area for him to run XD He is the only one here. And there are level 105 elite guards here so I dont know if alliance can land here.


Naturally I tamed him and named him Rebel..<_<

EDIT: I think it may share a spawn with a mouse...o_o After I tamed it, I mouse appeared where it was. I shall wait and see what happens next.

EDIT 2: Well lookie here. The Tan & Black Gazelle at level 3! Petopia only has it at level 5 in Uldum and 90 in Vale and Dreadwastes! And now the Striped one just appeared as well!



So so far in this single spawn point I have 3 of the 4 gazelles a mouse and a prairie dog XD

That Gazelle used to be a critter, which is probably why it shares a spawn with critters still. Since it's never a battle pet I guess that can't hurt

I actually did record it for Mulgore but it appears that didn't make it to Petopia live so I'll add it to the corrections spreadsheet immediately. Thanks! Looks like Petopia doesn't list it for Desolace or Southern Barrens either. D'oh.

As for the colour, awesome! I had no idea it came in orange with black. Will add that too.

Thanks! Turns out Petopia was missing all the amber ones. Added them to the spreadsheet so hopefully it'll be updated

Stags don't seem to have Grace listed on Petopia.

I have a suspicion a lot of abilities will need fixing. It's not an area I really concentrated on so I don't know much about. I'm going to have to read through the family changes thread I guess :/

Aye, most of the family abilities are not listed as the correct abilities.

Thanks to Arcanimus's list, and cross-checking with Wowhead, I think I got all the pet family changes updated on the spreadsheet. There really is quite an uneven spread of abilities now, which makes me wonder if more changes are to come.

Anyway, hopefully the changes will be in next time Mania does an update, but I haven't heard from her yet.

Yeah, I'm not sure what to think about what they're doing with all the pet abilities. I may not be a PvPer, but I dislike that they seem to be taking away a lot of the PvP pet abilities for those hunters that do. Granted ones like the dog's lockjaw are forgivable because lockjaw was kind of a crummy ability. Very niche use, imo.

They reduced PVP abilities all around though because PVP was just getting to be a game of 'who gets theirs off first'. Letting hunters have EVERY pvp toy (albeit not at once) probably isn't really fair when a lot of other classes lost skills too. Hunters still have snares, stuns, a silence... they're just yours, not necessarily your pet's.

Thanks Yeah, Mania just hasn't updated that part of the changes to the spreadsheet yet. Hopefully soon!

This guy should probably get updated to say that he's not tamable (in one of the little sections like other families have). Unless he is actually tamable, in which case, the mob info needs updating.

Hopefully everything up to this point is now updated on the live site! That includes the family abilities. Please let me know if it's not!

Now that we are 91, the Scorpid Kri'Chon is tameable.
