Today my friend's WoW sub ran out, which made for a very lame and boring and kinda distressing run. I only just found out recently that Kael'Thas also drops a trinket that turns you into a blood elf (!!!) for a while, but he's only dropped it once and my friend got it, so I decided to keep running that, too.

But Anzu finally took mercy on me, maybe because I was running him by myself again.







I also got enough gold today to buy an armoured snowy gryphon, which I didn't have before! This puts me up to either 84 or 85 mounts. I can't remember right now.

I keep staring at that second screenshot, wondering why you posted it... But congrats on Anzu!

Ah, I posted it because it was very exciting to have in my bags, but mostly because I didn't realize you could see that I'd looted the mount in the first one! (◡‿◡✿)

So I don't really have an update for you guys, but I do have a question! Is there any way to make the Cenarion Expedition dungeons suck less? I hate them so much, but I want the hippogryph...

(also the orb finally dropped.... from a random mob in the dungeon? i'm down with it. dona makes a pretty belf.)

There used to be a repeatable Coilfang Armaments turn-in quest, but I think it was deleted for some reason. If you get sick of dungeons, you can grind Nesingwary Lackey Ears in Borean Tundra. And don't forget the quests in Evergrove.

Yup it's gone for some reason. Found that out last year was a bit wtf as you can still get the items and I don't think they have any other use.

Given the respawn rate of mobs around Kaw (the guy with the mammoth) you can get a steady stream of ears and exalted in a couple of hours.

So tonight my heroics partner and I tried to run Malygos on 10 man. We tried three times before we got a little frustrated; the best we got him down to was 18% in phase 3. Now, we're not really having any problems in 1 or 2, but once we hit 3 it's just... very difficult. We're following the spam 3 before he's targetable and then 1, 1, 2, 3 rotation, but we're having a lot of problems. He just won't die! And he keeps managing to hit us fairly hard. I'm 90 in quest blues and greens (I know, not optimal), and my partner is an 85 resto druid.

Any help we can get?

I did Malygos solo after a few disappointing tries. Do you move out of his flash-things? You can see when he starts casting them on you so you can move out of the way before they actually hit you and deal damage. This helped me a lot to avoid damage and you only have to keep your heals stacked up to compensate normal damage.
Also use all the cooldowns you have during the first phases so you only have little hp left to kill when you are on the dragon. I don't think you need a resto druid for the first two phases, I only used a spirit beast for emergency heals. With misdirection and lots of kill command your pet mostly keeps aggro. Can your partner go dps? This way you would get off more health before you have to fight him from your dragons and it will be less likely for him to reach the enrage phase. I think a second range dps would be the best help you can have.
Before I started to solo I did my runs with a warlock (*hugs and waves to Moila*).

Ah, we're on US. But that's okay! Someone has already promised to help once we get our Horde characters all the way up.

I just realized I never mentioned I bought the guild land mount, but I hate that it shows the stupid guild tabard design on a flag so no pictures of it.

But today I finally hit just over 2,700g (I have 3g left), so I bought the other mount!



I actually got it to be ridden on my RP character and my main probably isn't going to use it, but RP character is only 47 right now, so whatever.

Aela if you have an alliance thats 85 (or even 80?) I can help you. I can pretty much solo it and have both mounts so never use my raid lock anymore. PM me if you'd like some help

I think the trouble you're running into on phase 3 is what Find mentioned - stay out of the flash things that he throws at you and just move to the side of them, they do a bit of damage to you.

Also, the other big hint that I learn - as soon as you are on your drake, turn away from Maly, then fly out a good way, then turn back. If you are in his MELEE range, he will hit you hard! If you are out of melee range, he can only hit you with his spell attacks, which do so little damage the heal over time can keep up with it easily. Just avoid the lighting-flash-zone-things (can't remember what they are called) and you're sweet.

Oh, probably. I suffer from a lot of lag issues (as well as the fact that my screen is near-constantly glitching out, thanks to an old OS), so I have a lot of problems seeing what everything is doing. Add that to the fact that I'm just plain wretched at things with vehicles... Well, it's a challenge.

And that's okay, Castile! We're already getting close to 60 on those characters, and Veph really wants those boots (was it boots? I think it was boots). I'm also just having a lot of problems bringing myself to do anything on my main, so it's a lot better that I just do it on my little spriest.(:

If you wanna know a trick with Maly......get him down to 1 hp before you go into Phase 3 ;3 You can do that. Did it these last two weeks.
