Aela's Mount Hunts! || Malygos is a butt

I suppose you all remember the absolute horror that was my camp for TLPD (though, admittedly, I got off easier than many other people).

From that, you'll remember that I, when it comes to camping, can only camp one way.

Hardcore.

So I'm not camping for these mounts, or at least not yet. Instead, I get the joy of rep grinding, something probably even more tedious.


I'm going to start with the Netherwing Drakes, so let's see how long this takes me, shall we?

And then I realized that I only have about 600g and the 300 flying (which apparently you need to get the quests for the Netherwing) is 4000g.

Yeah, I'll move to a different mount set. Any ideas, guys?

You got the AQ 40 ones? All you need is someone to make a raid and then you can easily solo farm up to the first boss.

No, I don't have those. I have the ally griffins, the draenei elephants, a brown bear, and TLPD.

I started grinding rep for the Skyguards, but I'll see about AQ40.
My main question is if it's hard at all. I've never raided, and I don't do many dungeons, so if it's difficult at all I probably am not going to do it for some time.

Not really it's a lvl 60 raid so bring a good tank pet and ya should be fine. you'll just be killing trash up to the 1st boss so nothing hard.

I'm still beating the crap out of birdbrains for the Skyguard, but I did get a nice little trinket...

If you're looking for mounts to grind... Talbuks? The Archaeology mounts?

I've always wanted the Time-Lost Figurine, maybe I'll try farming it up after DMF is over.

Chaoyll;; I HAD gone, for a while!(: I was really, really busy with school, and I just didn't play WoW much. And not playing WoW much meant I didn't come here much, for some reason. But I'm back!(: Talbuks and the Archaeology mounts are definitely on my list! I think I'm meaning to do Talbuks after the Netherwings (which will be after the Nether Rays), and Archaeology mounts just sort of.... throughout.

Gorman;; I dropped really, really easily for me. I didn't even know it existed until Veph mentioned it (and, right after, it dropped).

Anyone else have ideas for grindable mounts? I'm already working on the Wintersaber mount, too.

Speaking of mounts, I just remembered something I forgot to tell you all! Yesterday, while I was leveling in Vash'jir (I HATE THAT PLACE SO MUCH), guess what I saw?

Dead seahorse. I thought I was going to cry.

Dead rare spawns are the worst.
And Posi has a super fast despawn time too.

Nope, I'll be in a magical internet place. Might try the weekend after that, though.(: The bad thing is I don't really want him, I want him for the mount count.

Not a mount (though it may get me closer to a few!), but I bought a durotar scorpion on the market for 999g. I only bought it because I'd finally broken 1000g... and the only other one in the AH was going for 6500g.

If, by some ridiculous miracle, I can get this sold, I'll be able to buy my 300 flying and, maybe, a mount or two. :D

And Posi has a super fast despawn time too.

He despawns?! That's news to me... Then again I've yet to camp for him at all. I thought he just spawned every 72 hours or so and stayed there till someone nabs him.

Huh. Makes up for him not having a dud spawn kinda thing I suppose.

No all rares despawn after a time I think.

Well I personally have sat and stared at Loque'nahak for over 45 minutes while trying to find him an owner... And I know some guy on YouTube went on to the test realms and found Aeonaxx and recorded the time he sat and watched it, which ended up being around 20 minutes before someone jumped on it... And I think it was confirmed a while ago that Time Lost no longer despawns after one lap around his patrol route either. (I heard a story not too long ago about someone who was camping it late at night, they went out for a smoke, came back later and saw 45 minutes ago Time Lost had spawned... They flew around and found him alive and well.) So... yeah. I'd never heard of Poseidus despawning before at all though, never heard anyone bringing it up before.
