I’m predicting that we will get the skill as we finish the haranir questline that unlock haranir as an allied race. On another note, the other fluffy lynx I pointed out the other day is not a new model, rather a new color for the war within aka realistic lynx model

I’m a bit stuck on reporting right now because I’m having terrible network issues reaching this forum and Bluesky from my home network. But they are both reachable from my phone service. It looks like it’s an issue on the US end of whatever route my ISP is using. It would be very frustrating and slow if I had to send screenshots to my phone to post :p

That really sucks. Have you tested if older mandragora from all around give you the taming flag, the holy ones look cool but there’s a bunch of older ones that call to me

If the glowing ones are flagged as florafaun, then the older ones should since all of them are flagged as Elemental (Hydra). I'm almost positive they will work with that as the basis. If not, you bet your behind that once beta hits, I'll make sure to report that every single day until they're flagged.

That would be absolutely epic if they open up a new 'plant-beast' taming family. I'm cool with waiting as long as we know we ARE going to get things vs 'maybe they'll get around to it some day' like it was with the phoenix in dragon flight.

The new dragon hawks look great and I caught a few peeks on wowhead for the new lynx. Also yay!

Looking at non-beasts on the database, found these fellas among other things. These could actually be proper beast NPCs. The last one might be the "juvenile" of the weird crawgs we saw in the videos too.

Here is close up of the pangolin. This one is a battle pet, but I think is the same model.

This is a baby version of a mudskipper, but based-off of its appearance and the icons datamined, there should be new adult variants.

Looks like that crawg thing will be another hopper, bipedal toad/plant, that would be awesome

Eversong Woods alone already has so many good new models, and we've got all the florafaun and other zones left to discover. My poor stable's gonna need a purge for all these new things...

Let's be honest; this thing is flagged Dragonkin, but is very clearly an abberation. No way we're gonna be blessed with this thing as a lesser dragonkin lol. Would be amazing though!

The Haranir wolverine, though this also has twin tails, so possibly a non-Void version of the Whiptail.

Hopefully there are non-mount variants of these two that can be added in somewhere in Shadowlands.

That harronir wolverine mount looks more like another cat than a weasel, if I could tame one of those I could care less about not taming whiptails

Whiptails use the Undermine Rat rigging.

I'm not seeing it. They have similar motions, but they're very much more like cats with a new rig. Rats are too bouncy and stout.
EDIT: added an image of its mid-run animation. Very much cat-like.

Ah, yes. It must've just reminded me of them, but yeah, they're different.

The new mudskippers are called, at least at this point, Potatoads.
