Getting this started. No idea when the Alpha will be starting up, but likely within the next month or two.

Some new images show what looks to be a new beast of some kind, but it is too hard to tell exactly what it looks like from a distance, but it can be seen in a few shots of Zul'Aman.

Another view of the new frog model

A new fungal jellyfish (the purple mass near the mudskipper)

I'ma take a guess, This looks like the thing in the trailer... The one that was bathed in light, with the split mouth. It's using the gargoyle/gorilla/devourer skeleton... Looks like there's stuff on it's back. I dunno if it'll be tamable.

My wishlist is an updated dragonhawk with the model like the mounts. I'd never even really thought of using one as a pet before, but the new model is so cute...

They are confirmed to have a new model that is like the mount's. There pictures aren't in this thread, but I posted some over in the 11.2.5 thread :)

So, I got a better image of the unknown animal. You can see three of them in the image. I don't think that they are that plant gorilla thing. These kind of look like giant Pangolins. Their heads/faces look kind of similar to them, plus they look to be covered in scales.

I just got a slightly close look at the face of these pangolin things, the front of the head looks either reptilian, or a mammalian predator face, and by the looks of them, they use a new skeleton, as for that gorilla plant thing, if it’s a beast and it becomes tameable, I will scream

Watched the six shorts on Wow's page, screencapped everything that looked beast-like. Some repeats others have shown, but some I haven't seen posted yet. Also, I SPY A PLANT HYDRA. Also, I will be calling the Harandar spore dragonhawks Sporehawks, and not a single one of you will change my mind.

I'm so obsessed with the mushroom brutosaur but I don't have much hope for them being tameable... :(

Yeah, they definitely won't be made tameable. I won't say how I know this, but brutosaurs would not scale down properly. Even if they did, their animations do NOT work well with player race heights. I will not elaborate, but if you know what Brutosaurs do in their idle animations, then you know why. At best, we can only hope for a mushroom bruto mount (that isn't obscenely expensive).

I saw and posted about most of those. I didn't notice the cat in Eversong, the blood beast, or the flying creature in the Void. The reptile cat/wolf thing is seen in another picture standing next to the new void hydra. I'm going to move my pics over to here:

Image

I'm going to guess that we're going to get a Plant family or one similar to how Undead pets work.

Image

Looks like there is either a new reptile or just another hydra in this image
Image

Not likely to be tamable, but there are Void Jellies
Image

New Hawkstrider model
Image

The giant mushroom in the water is an animal. You can see the legs underneath the water. Like a fungus Brutosaur.
Image

New Frog model
Image

Faraway view of the new Dragonhawk. It has three pairs of wings, just like the mount does Image

Looks like the spider model from Shadowlands, but maybe a new color
Image

New mana wyrm model based-off of the new electric eel from Undermine. A purple variant can be seen in the second image.
Image
Image

Got a closer view of the Hydra. It is a new model. There is also some sort of canine or feline animal next to it
Image

Image

Looks kind of like a giant raven, but different than what we currently have. Might be based off of the mount.
Image

Another view of the pet that the Haranir hunter was with. Looks like a cross between an ottuk and a Salamanther
Image

You can see its head sticking out of the water. It might be using the lapbug model.
Image

Better view of the Plant Devilsaur
Image

Also, the Ghostlands have largely been healed and are teeming with life.

The resolution isn't great with some of these images:

Seeing as we're getting a bunch of other plant animals, it is likely that we'll be getting Mandragoras, too. They are in one of the new zones. You can also see the new bird model, though not terribly well.
Image

Another new mana wyrm. Blue variant
Image

New model for Nalorakk. Probably won't be tamable, even on a different mob.
Image
Image

An up close view of the new mana wyrm
Image

It looks like that mana ray/sporebat is a fungal dragonhawk
Image

A new bat/gargoyle model
Image

Could be a new gryphon model, based-off of the ones from the trading post

Went and updated some of the pics with higher-res ones.

You just barely see it, but there is a new beast that looks like it uses the carapid rigging.
Image

The flying void creature is seen in the video for the raids (though not a clear view of it).

You can see its void tail poking out to the left of the A in All. You can see it again before the scene changes. It uses the same model as the flying Nerubian boss in Nerub'ar and the flying creatures in K'aresh.
