Also, a question: Are DKs just broken to the point where a tank can do 60% of the DPS, or would he have not been tanking properly? Because jeez.

I got my first cloud serpant! No pictures yet, unfortunately. However... Is it just me, or do they move agonizingly slowly on the ground?

They move at the normal speed on the ground, as far as I can tell- but they're ridiculously long, so that might be why it seems like they move so slowly?

I chose golden! I'll be saving up for the other two after I make myself some panther mounts (which means actually leveling jewelcrafting, ick).

If you are broke and still chasing mounts, I suggest doing the old raids that drop pets. They don't sell like they used to, but they still can bring in some change.

Also, Kara mount. I need to start on that one again.

I may do that! I've never actually done the old raids, so I'll have to check them out, but it sounds like it could help fund me leveling my jewelcrafting (as well as getting me the other two cloud serpent mounts). Right now I'm actually saving up timeless coins + grinding rep to get the heavenly one!

If you have other toons on level 90 and a few of these eggs that drop on the timeless isle you can make the cloudserpent questline really fast. Just do the first quests until you have your hatchling and then hand in the eggs until you are exalted. Takes about an hour and you have the next cloud serpent mount.

I don't have any other toons that are 90 at the moment (and my main is the only character on her server, anyway), but I've got a nice stack of eggs already worked up.(:
