For me, this isn't true. I just had my original WoW character restored who was level 53 and she'd been deleted a year or even more. Maybe I got lucky but when she was restored it was just her. She was naked and with NOTHING but she was there.

Edit: And I also would roll a new toon. I agree that level 33 is really low to have restored unless you were EXTREMELY attached and missed that toon. Which it doesn't sound like you are. I love my troll huntress.

I was just about to post here and say it will be a female troll I will be rolling! To me they look the best and trolls offer better hunter racials for my play style. If the male trolls weren't so hunched over all the time I would have gone that route. Now comes a better, more in dept question...


Staring out troll, what would be the pets to hunt say up to lvl 20? I know I want , , and but what else would pair well with a troll while leveling?

Raptors of course! Sorry, trolls and raptors are like bread and butter. XD

If you're leveling as SV a wind serpent is a solid choice as well. I like bears as well for demo roar (fun side note: I used a bear to solo Deadmines at level 19-20).

I like raptors but not really the old models, I might get Tak though! Solo DM @ 19!?!? sweet!

Yeah, I did an "uber" pet challenge on my hunter for the pet challenge thread and went and soloed Deadmines for one of the parrots to report on. It was both fun and frustrating and I went and bought a bunch of stam gear and went BM. The only boss I couldn't down was Ripsnarl because of the vapor things. So almost all of it. XD

is right where the troll starting area is and is lvl 2-3! Did not know they made the new raptor models that low a level

Ok so that will be my first pet I grab @ lvl 10 then I think I will make an epic trek to Dun Morogh to grab me
, then start hunting rares as I lvl... like


I am going to try to have fun while leveling this hunter instead of rush rush rushing to get to 85.

I got Duskstalker on my baby Undead Hunter when she was level 12 IIRC. Have group will travel is awesome for such things. Humar also looks amazing with Trolls.
