My guild mates have found out really quick that mentioning "Huntard Disease" as they call it around me, via whatever character I may be on at the time, is always going to get some choice words thrown at them, heh. But its all in good fun.

In my own opinion, I have seen pretty much at least 1 *extremely* bad player of just about every class. (The one that comes to mind was this little warlock that decided to kill me while I was afk...when I hunted him down to enact my revenge via my Mage, he was taking the time out to Bane of Havoc me and Howl of Terror when I was never anywhere close to him...)

But yeah...there is bad players of every class. Its just over many years people have turned it into a Hunter joke.

For me, the terribad players I've seen have generally been ret pallies, but I suspect it's pretty randomly distributed. Ret pallies are also an easier class to level and quest in, given that they're physically tough AND can self-heal.

I see a lot of bad Tanks and Healers while levelling my many alts... You'd think they'd do some research before trying something as vital as either of these...

Well, everyone's a newbie at tanking or healing once, and unlike DPS, you can't hide in the crowd.

That said, reading a guide would help.

Someone I know came across a tank in a LFG who was tanking without a shield (and wasn't a DK). The guy wouldn't accept that a shield might be a good idea; he didn't like them.
