I'm still a mount and four pets short of the existing rewards, I'm not super keen on there being another raf reward added so soon after they redid the program. Then again, if you pick up wow on sale (I have a couple copies sitting in my inbox from the last five dollar sale) it "only" ends up being $35 total.
If I had a blazing urge to level even more characters to 85-90 I'd do it again but I'd much rather recruit ACTUAL people next time, not just myself haha
Still, that horse would look pretty nifty with one of the dragon soul Mage set colourings I think!

From what I know, they haven't said if it is 100% a RaF mount. I kinda hope not since I have ZERO RaF mounts (or pets)....I don't have anyone to invite to play. My computer would probably struggle to run two WoW's if I RaF'd myself...:/

yeah, I don't have anyone to recruit either. And I sure's hell don't need a third account. @_@
at least it'll be around for awhile since the RAF mounts are long-standing and aren't phased out over time anymore.

Do I need to get to 90 or buy MoP to get the RaF awards? I'm kinda tempted to get one or two. I want them, but there's so many. :/

No, you just need to recruit someone. If you start a new account to invite, you have to have paid for, I think, three months of game time or sign up for autopay? I think that's how it goes.

Looks like two months. Hm... I dunno, dangit. That's an awful lot for a cool thinger, although some spare bank alt space might be nice for awhile.

You could wait till around Christmas, they usually have really good deals on the games around then. I've thought about doing it myself at some point. Didn't they have WoW on sale for $5 one year? If so then it would be about $35 for the RaF mount with all things considered.

Also consider you get a month free on your original account, so that's some money saved.

Maybe it's just the angle, but its eye looks like it's set too far back on its head. I might be looking at it wrong, who knows!

To be fair, I find it completely legitimate for those in which the RaF service is unavailable (due to their location), to be a little upset at the chance of not being able to obtain this mount or any other RaF reward. Also mocking them with sarcasm and eye rolls is pretty unfair on your behalf. Let’s try and keep the input here a little less personal, whether you agree or not with the way RaF rewards are implemented.
Also, as mentioned this has not yet been confirmed as a RaF reward, it may seem likely, but not confirmed.

The country thing does suck, but Blizz isn't at fault for countries that don't allow anything like a "contest reward".. (Void in NE DE CA ID MT and some other places...)
What's worse is Blizz actually allows you to jump through loopholes (second accounts) to participate in that why, so then people complain because it's "mandatory" to create second accounts.
Perhaps the RAF bonuses should be different (free game time?) or the RAF mounts should just be in the store for $$$.

I think offering more free game time and allowing the RAF pets and mounts for $ would be awesome. I'm just gonna sit and wait for my birthday and/or a sale, really. It's a mild grump at most.

A new horse running animation, or did I just miss this one/did it slip past me? It looks new, but it could have been shown before.

Actually, I retract my question about the horse animation. Silly me. It's actually the stag/druid travel form animation that the Swift Windsteed shares.

It's a little odd, but then again it's a robot horse so...
also it means no broken front hoof, so I can deal with it.

Sorry guys, I wouldn't get too excited about obtaining this mount. It just occurred to me what it probably is. If I'm right then it won't be an RaF mount or any kind of learnable mount for that matter.
This mount uses a similar model to a blue one already in the database. The latter was intended to be a "hitching post" temporary mount for your group. i.e. you obtain (buy from the Blizzard Store) a hitching post item, which you drop at a whim and your group can use it to summon temporary mounts. See:
http://www.wowhead.com/item=98549 , especially Perc's comment at the top.
But they never added it.
Now this fancier red version appears, with Blizzard's wry "best when they can be used with friends" comment, AND a corresponding red hitching post model in the database as well (confirmed), and I think we have a good candidate for a new
temporary mount Store item. If so then boo
