A far better view of the Void Flyer

You can't see it very well even in the video, but briefly a creature that might be using the Crawg rigging is moving around. It is more elongated and pointier than the crawg

A far away view, but it looks like it might be the Plant Gorilla

It looks like a new Nerubian Flier model. It doesn't look like the existing ones from WW, more like the old ones from Wrath. Could be a blood tick from BFA, but I'm not sure.

In regards to the lizard/feline creature, I wouldn't be surprised if they are part of a new family.

worgpower wrote: Thu Aug 21, 2025 6:24 pm I saw the panel video just now, the lizard creature with the two tipped tails use an entirely new skeleton, and the Roothorns use armoredon animations, I also saw another one, I don’t know if it’s the same or if it has a smaller horn variant
Are you talking about this one? It does look different. Could be a different variant or a different creature

There is a Mandragora seen walking by briefly behind some foliage, so Eversong will have Madragoras. It is very brief, but the "faces" of this one are more yellow/golden, which non of the existing variants are like, so it might be a new one. Edit: Looking at it again, each of the faces are also glowing.

Oh god, more mandragoras? Blizzard PLEASE.
EDIT: It shows up at ~10:24, and yeah that's 100% a mandragora. I was so hooked on the bird that I didn't even look over there. I'm a failure as a mandragora fan...

Blizzard released a short (I hate this format so much) that talks about the Devourer spec for Demon Hunters, but who cares about that. What's important is that we get a real good close-up of the roothorns, including a red variant. The animations look different than what we have with scalehides and clefthooves...

I'll take 10.

Really wish I could roll up with the Fungal Fen striders, but alas. SV
Maybe they'll make the fungal thing a talent like the undead book.

The animal walking next to the Haranir might be the earlier creature that I posted that is very difficult to see, but looks like is using the Crawg rigging.

@Danny I hope it's an easy book to obtain. I really don't wanna grind my butt off for a rep again, not after they stole our vorquin foals.
@Val Yeah that's 100% the crawg skeleton. It's also walking alongside that NPC, so that gives me high hope that it'll be tameable.

They actually use the same animations as the KSM armoredon mounts, which should have been given to DF thunder Lizards, armoredons, and DF rhinos ages ago, hopefully they do that to them during Midnight, the current animations keep me away from those pets

Right now you can use water striders as SV hunter, but it’s annoying to summon it. Switch to BM spec, call your pet, and then switch back, and bam, water strider. Same steps go for stone hounds, tephratennae, beakers, and Tula’rhun

I'm loving the new fungal and plant creatures from the haranir map. That plant raptor (following the haranir hunter on the trailer) is my favourite thing, can't wait.

In another dev panel, Blizz showed a bit of footage regarding various systems, reps, and changes. When talking about the Prey system, they showed an up close view of the new Pangolin model (black variant), with this possibly using a new rigging

Now it’s even cooler. I wonder what family pangolins will be put in considering they are related to dogs, bears, and cats in real life. Also alpha will possibly be dropping in a few weeks, but we can’t know for sure if it actually will be a few weeks, or a few months, so some of us will test and see new beasts in action before we know it

What stream, and where was it posted? It's not on their official youtube or on Wowhead (though the latter will probably have it ten days from now with their speed lol). Also, it looks sharp both in how good it looks and the fact it would probably shred you like cheese if you tried to hug it.

It is in the Blue Tracker on Wowhead. The stream itself doesn't show much in terms of the world. Most of it is UI and still images.

Edit: Nevermind. It looks like Blizz took down the stream for some reason.

Ah. Well that explains it then. Still, good job catching the pangolin before it got taken down.

They have posted it again. The only thing that I've been able to see is the Pangolin, a fungal raptor (from faraway), a green hawkstrider (seen already), and the mana wyrm mount. Only the first half of the video has to do with Midnight zones. The second half has to do with updates to leveling 1-70 and 70-80.
