Awesome Quin! Having witnessed a Mosh tame myself I know how exciting that is regardless of being level 80. :D Congrats on your new friend, hope he works out for you! ^^

You'll have to tell us what kinda personality he gains. They usually have them straight from the get-go :D

I shall definitely share him when I get him out in a few instances and get to know him. :D

Quin wrote:You guys have inspired to me give dinos a chance. I was planning to tame Krush, but then I realized....I really only wanted to tame him to say I did. More of a 'challenge' than a real desire to have him as a pet.

So, I looked over the skins and decided I liked the bronze/orange/brown coloring the best and spent some time in the crater, hunting down the 'king of Un'Goro', Mosh. :D It wasn't really too hard a tame since Quin is 80, but it was fun!

Sadly, I forgot to get screenshots of the actual taming.

However, here is Quin and her new friend! Soon I shall ask for some help finding him the perfect name. :D

Getting Mosh really isn't any less of an achievement (if that's what you're looking for). I've heard of even level 80's who get feared, roflstomped, interrupted, and have an all-around painful time trying to tame Mosh. I call him Krush's little brother, but really they're about equal. So congratulations!!! I actually really like that skin, too, but I just couldn't pass up a green devilsaur (green being my favorite color and all). :)

Dang you guys are giving me a terrible itch to switch Bitka over from MM to BM so that I can have a devilsaur. I know I can duel spec, but we just do not have enough stable slots for me to be both. I tend to fill up my stables with exotics if I'm BM. Have a hard time leaving a slot or 2 open for MM pets.

Krush really is gorgeous. :D

And yes, he chased me around, feared me, stomped me to death (twice! almost three times!). I had to feign a bunch and clear areas and just...he was a bit of a pain, but I felt so darn good when I finally tamed the beast!

My guild was laughing their heads off at me when I shouted "YES!" over Vent when that gold flare when off and he was mine! :P

I think the only real difference between Krush and Mosh is that Krush can hit harder. Honestly they can both be very difficult tames.^^

Now I must post a picture of me and Fely :D

Freshly tamed....

And one time when I was working on some loremaster stuff, I stumbled across somebody with the exact same pet :P Fely wanted to play, but we had to keep moving. XD.

Mosh IS still a difficult tame. Any pet who can't be trapped is! :D So congrats! ^_^

I may be one of the few that actually thinks the white devilsaur is pretty. If my druid was a hunter, it would look GREAT with her! But each of my characters has a very defined look to them (I rarely change hairstyles unless it fits, but then I end up changing it back to the original anyway :)), and with Rhyela, only certain colors or types of pets seem to work.

But I definitely don't think the white devilsaur is ugly. It's actually rather striking. :)

I'm rather fond of the white one as well, I'm not sure why it's so under-appreciated. I had one at one point when I was going through my phase of finding out which colour Devilsaur I wanted most. The pale purple and white look very nice together. The black just suited me best though. ^^

I totally agree with you XD I prefer the white one, even though most people seem to like the others better. I can't get into the red one (it looks brown to me) and while the black is gorgeous, it just didn't click with me when I tamed it. There's just something so ghostly and mysterious about the white skin.

Plus, it's EXTRA easy to keep track of my bright-white devilsaur in dark dungeons XD

I like the white one. On Beta, I have one named Frostbyte, though I think I'll switch him with the bronze skin (One I haven't appreciated much. I prefer the black or green). The bronze will be Synge, after the Spirit Beast I did, and because of his color.

On Fire, I love my Krush. He's very sweet and loving, and loves flattery, but like the others, he will mess you up if you dare lay a FINGER on Fire. He will be all, "STOMPCHEWSTOMP. HOW DO YOU LIKE THAT, HUH? WANT SOME MORE?" and then he'll be all, "There. The meanie is dead Fire. *snuggle*" xD

And I like Synge so much that Terania, my BE, will go out to Un'goro as SOON as she hits 60 and pick up a tyrant devilsaur and name it Synge.

I've never been a fan of the white one, since all three of the others are so striking, but when it comes down to which devilsaur Kallimon's going to end up taming, it's the white one. :D They hit it off immediately, so she's already growing on me and I haven't even gotten to tame her yet. Need moar stable slots please! D: I digress. They all have such great personalities. :D

I've always loved devilsaurs and was ecstatic to drop a Tyrant for King Mosh. Then just weeks later, I got Krush. He's just awesome!

Thanks! The King is a cutie. He really does have a lot of personality to him already. :D

When I tamed mine I thought about hunting for Krush, but I honestly only wanted to because he was so rare/hard, not because I liked the skin.

I went to Un'goro, and patrolled around looking for devilsaurs. I got the black one, and he was OK, but not super-special... I hadn't even raised him to Happy before I spotted another dot on my radar and there was a white one...

BAM. Abandon, tame, rename, heal pet, feed it some meat.

My new best friend for BM, and one of my permanent pets is Steve the white devilsaur.
Reading this makes me feel guilty that I haven't yet levelled him to 80!
(I tamed a dragonhawk for the random pet challenge, and then went MM for my initial dungeon-rush on hitting 80... must go back to my BM spec and get training/levelling/having fun again!)

White devilsaurs FTW.

Both of my toons have devilsaurs. Teigan has Pepper, an ironhide and Grys has Rika, a tyrant. While I love them on both toons, Teigan and Pepper definately have a stronger bond. I could never release her Pepper. She's like a huge, protective puppy who loves her mommy. I feel like she's so proud when she makes a kill and saves her mommy! :D More often then not, Pepper roars after a battle before trotting back to Teigan's side. Even when the terrain doesn't require it, she stands over her often, as though protecting her. Since Teigan is a dwarf, she fits under the devilsaur. :D
Rika and Gryselde have more a partnership. I think Rika is more intelligent and independent that Pepper. ;) She loves her hunting partner, though!
Devilsaurs have such personality, and the PetEmotes from the addon are just adorable. They are a great mix of fierceness and silliness.
I <3 my devilsaurs!
