I think they are, but I'm weird. :)
Well, I think the beetles are adorable too ;)

Well we did see those spiky raptors in the design sketches...maybe there is still hope for some more pets. Also we have a chance at hydra's. (I'm holding out hope) Personally I love the seagull. Ever want your own plot at the beach away from the screaming kids and annoying people? Feed a seagull by you. You get your own army of seagull bodyguard who keep your spot nice and clear

I don't see them adding those at this point. Would love to be wrong - that thing was beyond cool... but I doubt it. I think they've finished building new models and now are just tweaking things.

I'm happy about the more cutesy pets. It gives us more variety and if theres one thing hunters love.. its variety. (this is probably why so many of us play pokemon...)

I remeber back when Wrath was still in beta, a number of the hunters has tamed the polar bear cub (as it was tamable back then). Blizzard eventually made it untamable due to it looking pretty horrendous when it was scaled up to the size of regular bears, but a sizable number of hunters complained about this. In responce, Blizz said that they would think about including a few "cuter" pets in the future.

I just see them finally keeping their promise with these new pets. Sure, you may not like the friendlier looking critters, but there are plenty of other that do. And there is absolutely nothing wrong with giving us hunters more variety when it comes to choosing our pets :)

I'd like to keep optimistic at this point in time for those badass spiny raptors. After all, the female worgen has yet to make an appearance in the Beta... Okay, there are files for her when you data mine, but they're a little outdated when you look at the newer males. XD

There's also that new odd Hydra Chimera creature that was just found from concept artwork. There hadn't been a model for it before, but now there is. So they're still working on some creatures with any hope. :)

I think everyones getting a little jumpy because 4.0 is out on the PTR, but I can say after playing it for a couple hours it is still riddled with UI bugs. My arcane shot wanted to be multi-shot and a shaman I grouped with shot 1 lightning bolt and it looked like it hit 3 targets (but didn't.)

Needless to say.. I think theres hope for further implementation.

Ummm seagulls are evil!! I plan on taming one and heading to the defias beach. Atack of the seagulls! Oh petopians can make a guild event of it. Everyone tame a Seagul then go pvp!! hahahaha or go to the defias beach!

I plan on taming one cause I keep hearing Mine mine mine in my head so.. thats my story and I am sticking to it haha.

I think they are just allowing us to tame already existed beasts but we never could tame them before so atleast they are giving us a wide variety. I just wish there would be more.. epic pets.. like fire breathing spirit devilsaur.. or that was can tame dragon or something. Its Cataclysm! I just dont see bugs being the most prominent pet we are finding.. everything is cute yes. I want.. more.. devilsaurs...
And make the green raptor rare tameable already .. like geez.

Hopefully new things will pop up that will be the most epic of the epic. One spirit beast pleases and dont hold back!
