Actually no it really isn't, no offense or anything Kalli- it's not like the grimtotem spirit wolf, or the ghost creatures from the oracle quest, atleast anything outside of the ghost dile- because even while I do love the ghostly effects, it's just a transluscent grumpy old man stomping about EPL.
No offense taken. We simply have a difference of opinion. I've personally never been a fan of the original ghost wolf, and my Hector is already OCJ, so the worg model has grown on me.
IMO, this is Blizzard's attempt to appease those who missed the original ghost wolf AND those who might not be interested in camping OCJ. I still consider this to be "something," which you are entitled to disagree with.

So this is EXACTLY like Winna's Kitten. I think we're in the clear to keep this guy.

In fact, I was sticking up for it if you read points one through three that I made.

I got what you meant, Rhy!
Your post was not negative in the least, merely you stating that you're not a fan of this particular model, which is totally fine.

Oh, I love that model, and he looks awesome as a ghostie! I hope he'll stay tameable, he'll certainly find a home in my stables.
Great find, thanks for sharing it.

any idea whether this will be a horde-only / alliance-only doggy?
since he's a quest giver, he may only be available to one faction.

This is a great question.
I had looked up
the quest on Wowhead last night and it appears that the questgiver is none other than little Pamela Redpath! That makes the quest open to both factions, which ups the odds of this guy being aggressive to both.
@Antares: You're completely entitled to your opinion of worgs, but it has nothing to do with the subject of this thread.

OMG the Redpath quest line is extended?! I'm going to have to rush over to EPL early on to check that out then! Definitely one of my favorite quest lines to date (even if it took me five(?) years to complete *cough*).
I think I'll be pulling out
this ol' hat to wear when I have this translucent coyote out! Should be entertaining for a few BGs at least!

Hello fellow hunters

I just tamed it but not happy with it so im going to abandon. Its not as transparent as the ghost cat and it looks like old cliff jumper and nothing at all like petopia has it drawn.I would like the shaggy wolves alot better if the nose and mouth wouldnt seperate when they shook their head. Its kinda grose to me lol.

I'm not too much of a fan of worg models, honestly. The only worg I have in any of my special is Skoll and the mount one. If I have the stable room, I would bring him aboard for favor.

Excellent! I love the worg model, and would have been disappointed if they went with the coyote.
Of course at this rate, I'm going to end up with a stable full of wolves...
