Good luck, Kebi and Novi!

Oh my gosh! That is an awesome idea!!
I might do the same thing.

Eurgh, I circled the Basin 10 hours straight looking for Loque...I definitely don't recommend that. Even though the odds of getting to him safely in the dead of night are higher, if he doesn't spawn, he doesn't spawn. (That was a dead of night camp, too.) So! Agreed on the off-hours hunting. No, popping the engineering nodes doesn't help. I ended up with at least 12 eternal fires from my Loque camp. >_< It does, however, give you something to do!
Best of luck!

Yeah, I spent about 10 hours patrolling for Skoll (Dead of night until near noon UGH). If there's one way to make your vision go blurry. @_@ I may just call it until Cata. There's always at least a couple of hunters at the start of the hour looking for him these days. Also, there's a few folks who just like killing Skoll. So I will just adore my parrot and spirit kitties in the meantime (And I hope they don't get the groan noise. How is Gondria groaning? O_o She's a ghosty! Even her growl is very soft and subdued! And where's she getting slobber? A pocket plane?). Rain the Aotona parrot gets lots of tells and I love the colors, so I think I'll be a happy Draenei until the day I find Skoll. I feel much more positive this way too. Camping isn't my thing and I feel badly that some of my friends dearly want Skoll too.
Someday. I did get lots of herbs, a couple of eternal life and 2 frost lotii from my work though.
If you were on my server, I'd poke about for Loque (Stingy oracles need to give me a green protodrake. I think they do this on purpose to make gold to hand out for dailies to buy more egg-- ... I'm ONTO YOU!). But I wish you lots of luck. He's an awesome kitty.

Best advice for camping Skoll: sit in Storm Peaks looking for the TLPD above a Skoll spawn point. He'll turn up before the drake does, I assure you.
*mumbles quietly about days and days spent actually looking for Skoll, then when she swapped to looking for the proto, he spawned not once, but TWICE within 24 hours for her*
HE KNOWS.

That might be wise. For now, I'm not feeling too well and a bit bummed out. I'd seen TLPD twice and Vyrgosa but no Skoll. There's also still a bazillion hunters out after him, so I suspect I'm just gonna wait until Cata drops then go put my own tent out there. Cata drops during finals anyhow, so I could study while parked. ><;
For now, I've noticed that at least on Feathermoon, the camping for Loque seems less intense -- though those darn elementals are a pain. I went to tame a devilsaur and a rift spawned, promptly aggroing and killing my dino. :/ I suspect they do it to rares too. Bring a haste potion...

That reminds me; I'd thought there was an elemental spawn on Krush's path, but it's actually closer to Nesingwary. There's no overlap! Thank goodness. >_<

Krush vs Elementals? My money would still be on Krush! The one time I did find him and tried to tame him he beat me something ferociously after he'd feared me out of healer range... Some pesky alliance took him down before I got back to my corpse to try again.

I suspect that while Krush could take the elementals, Loque or Gondria probably could not.

Just as a warning. If you're wanting to tame them, I'd watch out for rifts nearby and either clear them or use the gentlest shot you have and move him away.

I haven't seen any rifts spawn in the areas where Loque is. But then again, the only spawn points I HAVE seen for rifts were with the rhinos west of Nesingwary and in that spot on the edge of the swampy-part of the jungle at Skyreach. *shrug*
I had no luck with Loque last night, however people were being more friendly about information. I spent a couple hours talking to another hunter looking for Loque (along with their guildmate who had tamed Krush the night before.) Very late into the night on my server, someone came by asking about rifts and I told them exactly when I saw them last, and if I saw one again, I would let her know. I ended up mentioning Loque, and another Hunter (After something else or farming, I suppose) claimed he tamed Loque yesterday. Then someone else piped up saying that Loque had been tamed ~4hours ago (It was ~4am server time, so at ~12am.) Unfortunately the 6 hour period after that would have been when I was sleeping. :[
I'll keep at it though. <3

I've started camping for Loque yesterday at 5:15-something like 4:45, yesterday, on Terrokar. I work form home, so just minimized WoW. I started again,at 7:15 this morning, found Loque's bubble at 3:00. While in the 70.71 spot, NPC scan went off, and announced that Aotona had been spotted. I am literally using the Law of Attraction on this one. manifest, manifest manifest, manifest, mantras of manifesting, anything to bring loque to me. Hopefully tonight, I'll be up at 2 a.m, which I'm not normally, and I'll be able to tame him then, maybe. On December 7th, if I've not gotten the spirit beasts, I'll camp for them, cause not many people will be in the areas.
The bubble on terokkar is at 70.71 today. It's 4:00, and I'm not going too far from the computer.

I hunted him for four months. O_o
Post in the general chat when you are in the Basin that you are looking for him and if you really want to, offer a reward for someone who helps you find and tame him?
Don't give up. It takes a lot of time to find and tame this guy-but he is so worth it. Out of all my pets, new and old and upcoming, he is still my favorite companion.

When I was camping my Rakesh-Loque (name courtesy of the lovely folks here), I found that the neutral Hardknuckle spawn point seemed popular--and that you could Eagle Eye the other Hardknuckle spawn with a jog of a few yards! Nice way to tip the odds in your favor if you're wanting to stay put.

When I went for Loque I went ahead and bought 280% flying just for patrolling sholazar and in the end I'm convinced it helped. I wound up doing 1-2hour patrols over all the spawn points flying in circles every morning, from varying hours between 5am to 8am. Finally after a month or so NPCscanner popped up in one of the southern most spots, I tamed, and probably ten seconds after it finished a horde paladin flew over me. So I was VERY close to having lost Loque. There have been countless times where I haven't bothered with a frost trap, I've gone in and ate their damage because I decided I didn't have time to trap them. When I finally got 4/4 spirit beasts by finally getting Arcturis, it was fairly frantic, because there's only one spawn point, I wasn't willing to risk that half a second to trap him.

Try using this macro, worked for me, Thankfully i only had to pay for King Krush, the other 4 i found all by myself within 4 weeks. I adjusted the last part to whatever beast i had left. Spammed it every 2-3 mins so as not to clog chat, but it was usually late.
/1 Greetings, if you notify me of a rare spawn thats up and I tame them, giving you 10,000 gold. Feel free to whisper or add to friends list for future notice. Thank you!(Now only Loque'nahak remains)!
