I did the Night Elf death trick to get up there, tamed it twelve and a half hours after someone else killed it but I didn't camp the whole time (only the last half hour). The second time it was just there when I went in to do some mining.

The timer seemed to be exactly 12 hours and 1-5 minutes for me. I saw her once but let my friend who'd been there longer tame. Logged and came back 11 hours later and she spawned within an hour of waiting so I tamed. I then logged but left my hunter there and when I came back 12 hours later she was up again to kill for the vanity pet. After realizing the timer seemed to be 12 hours I parked my shammy there and went to sleep. Low and behold when I logged in about 12 hours and 10 minutes later she was there yet again. Now I have my tame and vanity pet on 2 of my chars! Good luck with the hunt.

Edit: Keep the daily for a day that its unavailable to pick up, it lessens the competition waiting at spawn.

you think you have it tough i've been camping jadefang for the past 24 hours and it hasn't spawned for me unfortunately.

Believe it or nor I have had 4 rares in one day, Sambas, Ghostcrawler, Terrorpene and Keroma (camping none of them, just fly overs or checking for the first time)

Skoll has been the only rare that I have really ever had to camp.

Umm I hate to say this, but I came upon a certain quest in the beta that leads you right to a cave full of Jadefang clones... If they make them tamable after all the camping we all have done, ouch

This^ I personally would not camp for it no matter how much I like the skin XD I'm all for a easyer mob to get it's not like you wont be able to camp for jadefang if you want jadefang!. I did camp Jadefang for the Mini pet tho.

Oh yeah, forgot that part. Hunters won't have to compete with minipet hunters anymore if those new Jadefang clones become tamable.

Does anyone really need to camp Jadefang any more? She's almost always there when I'm in Deepholm; I've given up trying to re-home her.

Some servers aren't like that. On mine it is. I see Jadefang up all the time. In fact, I stopped seeking her out. XD But I know other servers just don't have that luck.

I find it so interesting how diverse servers can be.
