If you wait for the daily, I'd hold onto it for a day when it's not the daily. To avoid other non-NE, engineer peeps.

Update!!
I was mining out in TH and just casually decided to check and see if Karoma and Sambas were up since no one was in the area. I ran through Sambas areas twice while mining with no luck and I was originally not planning on looking to see if Karoma was up but said what the hell since I had some nice Pyrite strikes around his spawn areas and low and behold he was there.
My NPC scan went off but came up with that weird message about how it was definitely a pet so watch out for that one guys. I'll post a pic in just a minute when I can get it up.
Also I found him east of Firebeards patrol if that helps any and it was around 5:20 am.
This is exactly where I found him. You can see how close to the shredders I was.

Yeah theres a topic about that bug. Though NPCScan updated twice today so....

I use an addon called Routes, which creates an "optimal" route for you from node data (such as gathermate), but also allows creation of "bare" routes. You place the dots on a bare route and it will take whatever mess you created and optimize it.
The other addons I personally use for rare pet and achievement mob hunting: Rare Spawn Overlay, Silver Dragon.
I don't know what NPCScan does, that the others do not, so can't comment on it.

I never thought of using Routes but I might try that and see how it works for some of these. I need to turn Silver Dragon back on because it's helpful for sure. Also I had a bug today with NPC scan again. For some reason when I found ghostcrawler, getting tamed by someone else sadly
, it didn't go off. It didn't even give me a message in the message field. It did cache it though. I was happy to at least see the guy though. Apparently he has a long spawn time.
