Ravage, the Blasted Lands hyena, is listed as level 51. He is actually level 56 now.

In addition, Terror Spinner, Loque, King Krush, and Aotona are no longer elite. Likely none of the Northrend rares are elite any more, actually.

Finally, Old Vicejaw is still listed as a rare. However, he is not actually in the game any more.

Spiny Raptors in the Goblin starting zone are still available after the volcano blows, just not quite in the same locale: http://forums.wow-petopia.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=7317

A slight clarification on Wain's previous clarification.

There is a meadow in the far north east of Lost Isles where Spiny raptors can be found, both PRE and POST volcano. The entry to this area is a small gap in the cliffs at 63,60, quite high up on the slope above the pygmy village. I've searched fairly extensively both pre and post volcano and this small area seems to be the only one spared the firey death that envelops the rest of the island.

Gargantipid is, sadly, no longer a 'boss' level monster. Now it's a level 46.

Hawkbane's location is misspelled as "Terrokar Forest" instead of "Terokkar Forest".

I wanted to get a new look for my ravager and I saw the cute green and purple Quillfang Skitterer in the Petopia database. Under the Notes it says "Retains skitter animation.", but after I tamed one it walked and ran like all the others. I tried this with a few others and even compared it to the walk of Quillfang Ravager near them. But sadly they walk like all the others, every once and a while I would get a skitter but I think thats just him trying to catch up with me. Oh well, anyways I think the note should be changed, it's kinda misleading.

Go to Silithus and get a Reaver. They skitter all over the place. They are also the toughest pet available in my opinion. They come in several colors and in both 'Tank' and 'Boss' models. The easiest boss is in Un'Goro Crater. Gorishi Fledgling Colossus (Purple and Red). The tanks are either: purple, tan, yellow or blue. Excelent pets for fighting at your side in all environments! The rest are just for looks.

BTW: I have a yellow one named 'Skipper' just because the constent jig he does!

The stone bat, is tameable. i used Beast lore on one, and i'm probably gonna tame one when i hit lv 83

I just tamed one of those Stone bats


Though the page says that their UN-tameable...

suggest adding a note to the Sand Crawler section of the Bronze Crab page:

"W. Ruined Reaches, offshore"

as the Azshara spawn points are not listed in WowHead

Darkmoon Island

Darkmoon Tide Crawler - Level 10/11, basic crab model, color-changer between all vanilla skins. Cannot be tamed.



Darkmoon Wolf - Level 85, black coyote-wolf model. Cannot be tamed.



Edit--I should specify that these are the WILD beasts. There's a load of "tamed" ones in the Faire, petting zoo creatures etc, but they aren't Beast Loreable. Still, if you'd like a list I can make one, just shout.

The Darkmoon Wolves I saw were Lv10-11.

And damn, I thought for sure they'd be tamable. Must be an oversight.

I can confirm the level 85 wolves. Where did you see the 10-11 wolves?

Since I am at the Faire again and was just posting on Petopia, I figured I may as well add the tamed Faire beasties from normally tameable (and hydra!) families! Please note that none of these are tameable; none can be Lored and all are friendly.

theres also that lion and the lioness that are lead around the faire on leashes...dont know thier lv's though, they use the same models as the above mentioned faire lions

All of the mobs that get walked are level 85.

Ahh yeah, I didn't even see him >.< He was a tiny cub asleep on a tiny crate, SO adorable

Brimstone Hounds are now tameable in 4.3

mentioning that it growls when clicked--the other barks-when-clicked worgs do, so I assume this one should!
