My mum told me this morning she'd woken up around 5 AM after a nightmare related to the horror film we'd watched last night. When she woke up, she looked in the mirror, and she saw Poppy sat on the end of the bed, but Poppy wasn't there when she looked at the bed itself.
Oh God, this sounds close to frightening.
But guess what, sometimes this happens to me and this scares the crap out of me, my friend, who studies brain anatomy related to psychology says it's pretty normal, but i wake up at night and continue seeing things i was dreaming about for some split seconds. Once i had a nightmare about mice and when i opened my eyes a could swear i saw a little mouse running into my wardrobe room, given the fact that i live on the 7th floor a mouse is something impossible here, so i even stood up to check, but naturally nothing was there. But this is nothing compared to when i saw a "the Ring"-style girl when i woke from a nightmare the other night standing at the opposite end of my bed staring at me. I think i still can't recover from that shock;p

I hope you'll find your girl and the Johny Depp cat she's with at the moment:)

Kuraine - I saw you mentioned that you put notices in your neighbors' mailboxes, but have you posted up flyers aside from that? Particularly in areas a bit further out than you think might be necessary? Cats can travel a LONG way. Did you find out if the vets/shelters would be able to read a foreign chip?
He is still alive and kicking at nearly 19-20 years old. Heh. He is an insanely healthy cat for his age, He hangs out with the rest of my spoiled rotton cat-crew and plays with the younger ones just as if he was their age. So we still own him, and he's fine and well. :)

and you KNOW that this is a completely false statement!

cats do NOT have owners... they have staff.

Hi, this is Kuraine, the OP of this thread, on a newer account. I don't use the other one anymore since Kuraine no longer exists.

It's been five months now and we've not seen or heard anything about Poppy's whereabouts. I cried about it for months, I still do sometimes, but I've somewhat given up hoping now. Wherever she's gone, I hope she's happy, and if the worst happened to her, I hope she's doing well in her afterlife.
